Hezbollah Says Ready For Another War With Israel

Tyler Durden's picture

In what can only be described as broadly market positive news (remember in bizarro world $200 oil is equivalent to 2,854 on the S&P), Jerusalem Post reports that the leader of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah is ready for another war with Israel and will "conquer the Galilee."  "I tell the fighters of the resistance that one day they might be asked to liberate the Galilee," Nasrallah said at a "Resistance Martyrs Day" ceremony. "The Israelis are afraid," Nasrallah said. "I want to assure you and tell the Israelis that they should be careful because the blood of Imad Mugniyeh will not go to waste." Presumably, Hezbollah has been closely following Israel's response to recent revolutions across the region, and likes what it sees: "The Hezbollah leader also discussed Israel's reactions to the protests across the Middle East, citing Defense Minister Ehud  Barak's assessment that the Middle East is "changing in front of our eyes." "This shows that Israel, which was confident in the past, is no longer," as it was, Nasrallah said." And following that profound piece of psychological insight, all we can say is BTFD, or we would, if Bernanke allowed dips any more.

Hizbullah are out of their fucking minds. Israel has nukes. And if - by some miracle - Hizbullah managed to advance on Israeli soil, and beat the IDF in conventional warfare (as opposed to their previous successful whack-a-mole hit-and-run guerilla efforts), the US would ride to Israel's rescue.

Genocide against Arabs is OK in your book, is it?

So, let's see. There are what, 6 million Jews in Israel? How many Arabs is it OK to kill so that Jews can carry on living on their stolen property? the same number? More? Why are Jewish lives so much more precious to you than Arab lives?

While the idea of not getting overly involved in other countries' affairs appeals to me, the idea we can be Switzerland is ridiculous. Terrorists or others don't target Switzerland or Liechtenstein or Luxembourg or Belize because they don't matter. If radical Muslims take over Europe they will eventually cause trouble and target these places, too. If they see some advantage in causing trouble in Switzerland, they will show up. In fact there is friction there now as Switzerland banned the minarets there. I have a relative there.

We have to strike a balance between non-interference and yet standing up for friends and our interests. It's not a simple thing to do.

Hezbollah is Iran’s proxy in Israel’s immediate neighborhood.

This will probably devolve like a continually vamping cage match where Israel is provoked, needled and perhaps attacked by many minor slights by many players aligned against them to justify a “warranted and measured act of self-defense” against Iran...like, oh I don’t know...like maybe destruction of the Bashehr Reactor?

In the end, I don't see Israel winning unless they're willing to annihilate everybody else and live on a radioactive planet.  Nobody likes them.  I'm not even sure if they like themselves.  Eventually, they'll make an enemy out of everybody.

And Israelis aren't generally willing to die for their beliefs, whereas their neighobrs appear to be.

Eventually somebody who doesn't like Israel will get an A bomb to Tel Aviv.  Not if.  When.  When that happens Israel's options will be to stop existing as a religious state or A bomb the whole Middle East.

Do you remember the story of Samson?

The Israelis do.

Selective memory.  They must have forgot it when they neglected to take out one German as "6 million" were slaughtered.

You have heard the term, "Never again." right?

Not many pacifists this time.

Perhaps.  Perhaps they have a mentality that "this is home" and must be defended, which hasn't been present for several thousand years.

Perhaps there's not a cultural prerogative to avoid injury to self even if injury to country/brethren occurs.

Perhaps.

But, if history is reviewed, the culture of the Israelis tends to be much more watch-out-for-me-first, resulting in more fleeing than fighting.

Draft dodging is a huge issue in Israel.  If they're attempting to dodge service in times of relative peace, what does that say about "never again"?

It's a nice theory.  Completely untested.

Israelis have fought with valor and overcome enormous odds on numerous occasions.

They have one of the most professional military on this planet.

They will not run.

You'll notice that Mr. Ivy keeps quoting the 6 million dead figure.  He does this to claim that the holocaust never happened, or if there were death camps they certainly weren't as destructive as we are told.

He is a troll because he doesn't come up with counter evidence, or another number supported by evidence, but rather wants you to question the event entirely.

I am no blind Isreal supporter, but the presumption that the holocaust never happened has been debunked on multiple occassions.  Read "History on Trial" if you question it.

Looks like every organization in the ME theater has an owner and they are the foot-soldiers/speakers on their behalf.

Who owns Hezbollah?

If you believe the propaganda, 6 million Jews were slaughtered like sheep without raising a finger.  Check your math.

Fact, not propaganda Frankie.  Don't believe me, believe the US Army.

http://wn.com/Nuremberg_Trial_Documentary_US_Army_Version_1950

Many Jew's fought back but were crushed like the rest of continents populous.  Ever hear of the Warsaw up rising?  It was led by Jews, while most of the rest of Polish population hid like scared rabbits.  How many other popular uprisings against the German occupying army. None that I know of on any scale.  Resistance forces yes, general revolts no.

Few envisioned what Hilter was up to until it was too late.   German occupation during WWI was relatively benign and Jews fared no worse than the general populations in WWI.

Hezbollah is acting up at the behest of their Iranian masters.  As always, Jew baiting is useful in distracting the ignorant masses.  A good dust up with Israel might distract the Iranian general population.

I am simply astounded by all the previous commentary...does Iran want a war?...does Israel want a war?...will the Muslims take over Switzerland and fuck all the milkmaids?

Pleez stop with all this inane conjecture and just ask yourself...would GS benefit (or not) from a war and then you shall have the right answer.

Israel is a failed state and will be gone within 20 years.  Perhaps there are reasons they never had a "homeland"?  Let's all just admit the fact that these people are not builders, but many have proven to be proficient thieves.

One thing for sure, I bet a lot of those planning to "make aliyah" soon are having second thoughts.  :)

I'm no zionist, but to suggest Israelis (or Jews for that matter) have not contributed enormously to humanity's progress is displaying collosal ignorance. Music, medicine, physics, chemistry, technology, maths, software... you name it, a lot of the pioneering inventors are/were Jewish.

To hate Jews because of Israel's actions makes you as blindly rascist as the zionists you decry.

Hopefully, if Pakistan does go under, some of the nuclear material and technology they have will be smuggled out and "gifted" to the parasites in Israel. Israel is a criminal state started by some of the biggest criminals of all, the Rothschilds and other elitist Zionists. If you want a good introduction on how they operate here is a good article that describes it and how the jooz think:

Some of you sound like Hezbollah or at least sympathizers.

It is true that Israel will face tribulation and 2/3 of the Jewish nation will be killed in world war (Armageddon), because some of her leaders compromise & agree to a "peace" with "the prince that shall come", but she will be saved in the last hours, at Bosrah, when she repents and pleads for Messiah to return. When the world sees Him, coming in the clouds of glory, they will loose any confidence they had in their own strength, intelligence, religion or prowess.
