Hitler And The COMEX

Tyler Durden's picture

It has been done before (here, here and here) and it certainly will be done again. In the meantime, here is Adolf, reprising in his now traditional role as Jamie Dimon, learning that the Comex is out of silver.

Tyler, are gold and silver trading?  Kitco charts are odd and show "blips" here and there.  Goldshark's charts had silver almost up to $48...? Anything you can tell us?

DaddyO's picture

US markets are closed for Good Friday.

JPDG's picture

Right.  Was just curious why kitco wasn't tracking other trading?  Their charts are flat?  *shurg*  No worries.  Thanks!

herewego...'s picture

Kitco's chart is a flat chested bitch for these 'closed' days.

Try bullionvault, nice curves there.

Its amazing what the price does when the Nymex and globex goons can't pour their paper on the fire. I wish there were more western only holidays.

French Frog's picture

it will be interesting to see where it opens on sunday evening at 18.00 EST; watch for any prints that sometimes appear between 17.00 and 18.00 EST.

we have now at least 4 different feeds where the price is above 47.50 (bullionvault, goldseek, goldshark + 1x Metatrader platform);

maybe someone with experience can shed some lights on whether these price prints are here to stay or not; very often on xe.com you get wacky currency prints on saturday when everything is supposed to be closed!

cowdiddly's picture

I don't know where they will open it Monday but I Have noticed the last three trading days are almost ruler smooth. Nice and orderly. Gee I wonder why. Its a sad day when the commies have more legitimate markets that the so called free world.

tomster0126's picture

now that the prices are dropping slightly, what are your thoughts?

SilverRhino's picture

Spot is 47.60 an ozt?  Holy shit.

Ha  hilarious

The second vid is beyond strange.

Heres some footage from Dublin before the ECB-34s were on the streets.

Ya it sure is, but then so is JPM, GS, SocGen, HSBC, Barclays, Nomura, DoucheBank, its Landesbankenmuffins and of course those "pillars" of Irish banking whose balance sheets make Cowen seem downright clear & concise.

To Cowen and co ..

And his like minded associates

And their MAD fixation

Regardless, their running days with all those freaky friends may well be coming to an untimely end while Blythe insists on nobbin' with his patented; Alles Klar, Herr Kommissar.

And ya Jay Gould Esq - it was a set up to this one .. heh

My netdania chart shows trading stopping at 5PM EST yesterday at about 46.56, FWIW.

PeaBird's picture

goldseek is still tracking non-US trades in gold, silver & USDX. And yes, silver has just moved by about a dollar quick time.

PY-129-20's picture

Immer diese Hitler-Clips, pure Obsession. Tztztz. Mal warten, wann irgendwann mal die Stalin oder Mao Clips erscheinen, bitchez! But it is the first time that I find the clip funny. :)

alt-shift-x's picture

ist schon lustig an zu gucken, wenn man den orginaltext versteht, nech ;) ... funny as hell nevertheless are there any movies with Stalin and Mao that we could use?

Phaethon's picture

I'm sure Hollywood will soon start cranking out movies creating a mythos around the evils perpetrated in the communist bloc any day now.  It's not like they're pushing some agenda that involves only demonizing Germans or nationalism or something.  Why would they do that?  Why wouldn't they want to expose the much higher death toll of the early Soviet Union?  What would motivate that?  Just a coincidence that no movies like that exist I guess...

Jay Gould Esq.'s picture

Hollywood would respond, "We already did that. Zhivago. Hitler sells, baby. We need some new material. How about revisionist Eva Braun and some tearjerker crap about an affair with 'Papa' Goering ? Angelina could be Eva, and John Goodman as Goering. Have your people call my people."

Phaethon's picture

More like 'Hitler is sold.'  Ditto for the History Channel, which may as well be renamed the Non-Stop Replay of the Second World War Channel.

Jay Gould Esq.'s picture

Your observation is correct, however; in that, the atrocities committed during the Stalin Era -- within the Soviet Union itself -- are of little interest to Hollywood filmmakers.

ewmayer's picture

The first time I saw the giant "H" logo for the H-Channel - I think it was toward the end of the biweekly "Hitler and his Henchmen" marathon - I got the sense that it didn't stand for "History".

Urban Redneck's picture

1) Take the text of Hilter's '41 address to the Reichstag

2) Swap out the nouns with contemporay alternatives and translate into Chinese and Persian

3) Run the translated text as subtitles to a clip of Obama's State of the Union, and dump on youtube

Warning: Results might be more scary than funny

Tail Dogging The Wag's picture

LACH! yes, it's funny!  but there are funnier ones...   especially with funny subtitles in many different languages. Incredible acting by the Swiss guy!
