How much of this was due to currency fluctuations?
much, much too late to buy on that news, harry. Sorry Racer. where'd harry go?
Buy? Me, no, not buying anything, doing nothing apart from watching this farce of a 'market'
It's like the dot com madness, you know it's mad but you don't know when the drop will be and you will be burnt if you try to short too soon.
Not you, Racer. I though I was responding to wanker's bombastic pontification, when suddenly his comment disappeared - sorry. Incidentally, this suggests that he is a ZH insider (or inciter), since I don't think the typical visitor can delete a comment. It happened very quickly too.
Who the fuck cares?
"How much of this was due to currency fluctuations?"

I got out a couple days ago, too soon apparently. One of the few stocks I've owned since 2008.
Stock is still waffling around, wait until it calms down.
Nope...sorry Robo...on that response to that qtr....she's a short.
OK...let the selling begin. Let it be robust...and shockingly so. Pull the plug on the king of the ponzi stocks.
ROBO..cue the chart of hopium overlaying bulltardedness.......across a 12 month period.
Yeah, but IBM is no APPL

LOL They really think it's going to work again. They need a crash so bad and they can't get us into the slaughter house. LOL
The economy is recovering (albeit no Jobs)
Pun intended
$4.18 is the whisper number. Why should it go up $4 AH? Light volume.
Priced-in x infinity.
.
Blew the doors off. Dow 12K this week, maybe tomorrow.
After all some company has to develope all the police-state technology to spy on the citizens and compute all the data from thousands of cameras and other stuff
The huge numbers will start rolling in from the heavyweights .... 4 - 4.5% GDP here we come. This will apply massive pressure on gold and silver moving through the killer earnings period ....
The only thing killer was the amount of money the Fed has spent proppin' up the stock market since 2008.
Nothing like giving out A's for D-like expectations.
So thats where the government debt money is winding up?
Very true. These guys are defense department whores bilking them for our tax dollars.
Good for them, now can they wait at least 5 minutes before another one of the smarter planet commercials runs.
IBM- First developed the numbering filing system for the Jews in Germany in WW2. Just imagine what these evil fuks have been developing since.
Just the HFT firms upgrading their computers as they continue to do "God's" work.
IBM? Never heard of it. Do you mean iBEAM, the app that makes you smile?
Repeat after me: There is no recession. The world is good. Life is Good. Its all good.
a few white robots at the top selling shit to non-white robots built by non-white robots will not save ya all unless of course you are a few white robots.
I was in walmart the other day and this lady all she bought was 30 1 dollar swanson frozen tv dinners and a 256 cpu blade server. And she paid for it with food stamps. It's OUTRAGEOUS.
Obviously, you people aren't aware of my friend, Big Blue's hardest working, and brightest employee, Mike Perry. Mike is a 57 year old, widely respected channel acct. mgr. who posesses that now rare, good old American work ethic, and he's a good family man to boot. There is a lot of cynicism in the air nowadays, but as I tell my friend, who talks of retirement: you can't quit yet, you have two more missions to complete: Director then Chairman. I wish he would register on zerohedge, as he has much to contribute.

Ya things are great at IBM.

Blah, blah, blah, life isn't fair. If at 57 you are still gainfully employed and valued by your employer, you have alot to offer. I am a union tradesman, on the other hand, and the only reason I remained employed is because I am very good at what I do also. I don't have to rely on buying the dips and selling the lows. I(we) possess valuable skills. A point that was apparently lost on you.
Blah blah blah. You didn't read those two links did you. There isn't loyalty there isn't respect fo yo skillz. They will throw you under a bus any time any place and for any reason. A point which is apparently lost on you. And by the way. Fuck yo stupid ass smart grid (Cheater's grid).
Is IBM different than other multinationals with ~250,000 employees, or is this a personal issue?
