Oops. Only half an hour in and Brian Sack is already way in over his head.
Didn't see that one coming.
Ok. I'm lying. I totally saw it coming.
We're doing GREAT We're doing GREAT!! We're doing GREAT!!!
Talking through teeth. We'll fix then when the customers come back.
Welcome to the Jungle, your going to die!
If they hadn't halted trading, some HFT algo probably would have driven it down to 0.0001 in a millisecond (and then kept hitting the 0.0001 bid).
That really is true.
When Intel and Cisco announced Q2 results and Q3 outlook less than a month ago, folks were scratching their heads at the differences - which led many to speculate that either Intel was channel stuffing or Cisco had one-off execution problem. For the record, I think we should point out all the channel stuffers and shame their CEO/CFO and haul them to the court - Sarbox, anyone still remember that one?
I noticed that online retail locations such as Newegg and Tiger Direct have been dropping CPU prices since July. And it was long after the i3/15/17 core line was released, when you would expect a ratcheting down in price of older CPU lines. AMD as well.
Oh gee look, another stick save at 1040 on the SPX. PPT is hard at work today!
I've seen that avatar!
Those chips must be getting more expensive in Malasyia. I should know because I purchased two of them recently. I build my own systems for the fun of it once in a while.
HFT's just pumped the hell out of INTC back to unchanged
Now we sure can't have a stock go down on bad guidance, could we?
unchanged ? will probably be up 1 dollar by end of day. Continue to hold my shorts Mr Sack !!
Netbook sales are cratering because of you know who (ha ha Reggie), and you know who isn't using Atoms. This is what happens when a company focuses too much on the low end.
Intel sitting on pivotal break line. Below $18 is very very bad.
you have to wonder if the flash crash low of 16.55 today becomes the new target?
i think it does...
Interesting I noticed that too on weekly charts but its missing on the intraday and daily that shows lows of 17.81???
Not a problem! Fraud Inc just pumped the garbage deep green again! Bad news= markets higher, total earnings miss= markets WAY higher! Welcome to USSA.
If only I could see past the event horizon of the Dark Pools, it must something to witness on this one.
Goldman must be raking in another $100 million today
Market going higher, fraudulently or not, it's going higher.
No wonder Intel's CEO, Paul Otellini, is openly bashing Obama and his administration:
Intel's done more to hurt itself than obama could EVER do.
As first suggested on Thurs 26th, further upside for DOW/SP500 is expected.
I wonder if Intel can get a group of people to sing "Ka-ching" the way they sing their logo sound.
With the huge and somewhat government subsidized semiconductor manufacturing equipment investment over the past year, this slow down of intel is probably indicating the beginning of the end of this investment cycle.Working extremely close to the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry, I am seeing lower investment in the near future (next 2-3 months?) getting closer and closer in the past few weeks.
