That's nothing compared to raising children while trying to keep your head above water without beating some greedy gutless oppourtunist senseless for the past 30 years; not to mention the harpies and warlocks on Washington in Wall Street who make Satan look like a Sunday school spit ball tosser.
These guys are all elite professionals taking calculated risks in each of their respected activities on a daily basis. I know Mike, the guy surfing at "Jaws" in Maui and many of his friends have died doing what he does, yet he continues to push the limits at over 40 years of age. These guys all have conviction in their knowledge (along with a giant set of balls) and achieve incredible feats in the process. Sounds like many of the investing greats. Amazing videos!

These activities are great metaphors for the increased risk in today’s market. The problem for me is that there is no reasonable alternative. I imagine it like canoeing down a raging river through a burning forest towards a massive waterfall. I can stay safe for now if I don’t paddle to shore, but, there’s no way to get back upstream and the end game is inevitable. Hey, are those vultures or black swans flying lazy circles up above.

Yep, being in these markets in particular insane 100 P/E equities is like being in all these videos....except doing it while in REM sleep.
