You should change your stardard article intro from that awful -
« If you would like to subscribe to Shadow Capitalism Daily Market Commentary ... »
The point of the intro is to hook the reader into looking at your articles ... look what the other contributors do in that way, and how they get lots of readers and comments.
Because you seem to be over-selling yourself, readers are avoiding your articles. Low-key selling works much better on Zero Hedge. Put that sales-pitch line at the end of your articles, not at the beginning nor in the intro, and you will get many more readers, comments, and more people subscribing to your newsletter, believe it or not.
Try it! Soft-sell works much better than hard sell. If people like your article, they will hunt you out for your advice. - If you keep that shabby sales-pitch intro, you are sabotaging your reader numbers, and don't be surprised to be eventually dropped from the contributor list altogether. It's the wrong approach here.
I don't write/publish these for exposure purposes, but I'll take your suggestions into account.
Naufal - Thanks for the insights. Also appreciate your clear list of trading positions.
