Tyler Durden's picture

Take one look at Bank of Ireland stock this morning. Then read the following October 4 report on BOI from Goldman Sachs, and please join us in extended our congratulations to Goldman analyst Pawel Dziedzic who has joined the prestigious ranks of Cramer and Dick Bove of telling those who care to buy a bank days or weeks ahead of its bankruptcy.

And the stunning price target (no, there is no missing decimal comma or two.)

Lose 30 lbs. by just taking a pill, look 20 years younger by just eating this green superfood, increase your intelligence by 15% just by watching this next video, have women fall all over you by just wearing this cologne and make money in the stock market just by buying stuff through your e-trade account.

.....it's easy in America.  Prosperity is an entitlement.

'Harny Wanger' - good one!  But you might want to add a <sarcasm> tag,  otherwise its easy to mistake you for the real Harry Wanger

The entire developed banking system is completely bankrupt but the 'system' keeps pushing it. The game is so obvious that i really don't understand why people still get into this trap.

His bonus will no doubt be HUGE. After all, this note will have enabled them to take the other side of the trade in size..........same as ever.

Whch means they probably shorted it, right.

Don't see why that would be a big surprise.

After all, you are talking about a banker's suggestion.

that's right. if anyone is stupid enough to listen to goldman, then they get what they deserve. goldman makes 70% of its profit from trading, yet people still refer to them as an investment bank. when was the last time they actually raised capital for a business? they're really a hedge fund.

Your goldman coverage is getting mixed reviews by the ZHeeple.

I think they feel apathy toward the squid, his armor has proven battle ready.

Please discuss.

Can't see the full report.  Anyways, this is about as useful as economic advice from Sarah Palin.  When situations such as these come to light, financial valuation models go out the window.

This is all political, and there is no way to determine what political actions will occur due to this 'nationalizing' of the Irish banks.

Whoops, was I not supposed to say that, lol ?

Was this the same Bank of Ireland that passed the stress test in July of 2010?   Four months ago?

No no.  This is the 'Bank of Direland'.  The other one is 'Allied Dire-ish Banks'.

Totally different.
