Irony Defined: Video Feed Crashes During Polycom CEO Interview
This one needs no commentary. The only corporate embarrassment episode that is more ironic is the BSOD during the Windows 98 introduction. And one wonders why the telepresence company's shares are down 11% in the past three months...

Hilarious. Now if only the CNBC feed would cut off...
OUCH!!! That was painful to watch. Catch a land-line, dude.
this will happen to cnbc during a burnett obama cheerleading episode.
clown tv campaigning for their king
Maybe the Iranians cut the fiber? Hell, we've been doing it to them for years. :>)
STUXNET, Persian style.
Good thing they don't Webhost Zero Hedge.
???
Thats a very tired looking CEO. 'Dying breed' indeed...
OFF TOPIC
Tyler,
Were you planning a post on the A-1 story, WSJ, "SEC Blasted Over Goldman Probe"? That would be the story re the Inspector General of SEC accusing the SEC of political motivations underlying the timing (and validity) of the Goldman "case".
Curious in NYC
More focused on "SEC blasting the HFT" case. As for the validity, the settlement says it all.
Tyler,
you know better than that. Goldman settled because it was the politically expedient thing to do.
Your unwillingness to point out the Inspector Generals' finding of a political motivation underlying the SEC's "charge", after ZH having trumpeted the SEC "charge" in countless posts, erodes your credibility. Nevertheless, it is your credibility to manage as you see fit.
May I suggest "fair and balanced" as an alternative approach. It is why Fox News is so successful while MSNBC so unsuccessful.
'Blah, blah... erodes your credibility.'
I think we all know who heads the SEC, don't we Mr. Storch?
Ouch, this guy does not like you Adam

Did Goldman Sachs caused both the 1929 and 2008 depressions?

that's very funny. made my day. (as was the CNBC comment up-top :^)
They all thought it was hilarious. Perhaps they're going to do this more often. Maybe turn into a kind of comedy channel although the on-air (non)talent will be the only ones laughing.
Tyler your on TOP again with great story, thank you kind serious sir.
FIXED, thanks.
Non issue as the feed clearly was CNBCs fault.
O/T, anyone think Mel Lee looks more coked up than usual? Whats with the bags under the eyes?
Stopped out of AAPL...finally. Cramer comes on, tells everyone he's shocked it's up on the news of now VZ phone anytime soon but says it's now a China play, blah, blah, blah.
AAPL turned on a dime and pulled the NAZ from plus 11 to -8 pretty damn fast.
Sad when it takes Cramer to point these things out.
Got out at 292 didya? If only i could be such a trader.
Nope. 289.
Cisco used the Stuxnet finger on em... Or was that Pancho?
Stuxnet sounds like some sort of raygun or fish-catching/electrocution device.
