Wake up and read the tea leaves. Economy doesn't run on Cisco systems. Economy runs on american workers working and spending. Without jobs, there is no spending. My Wallmart indicator continues to show extreme weakness in the economy. But then many of the so called smart folks who don't bother spending time at wallmart, are caught up thinking that just because Cisco systems posted good numbers, the worst is over. Without jobs, forget any significant recovery. The government is broke. Taxes are going up. Wake up folks, the fools rally is not fooling anyone today. It was all a big smoke screen around those phoney green shoots. So much BS.

Cisco apparently juiced their revenue numbers with 0% financing, something that BKed Lucent and others over the yesars. We called it "stuffing the channel" back in the day. It will come back to bite them big time. See Denninger.

DOW / SP500 downtrend on the daily chart continues.
The recent equities counter trend rally has finished and the March 2009 bear market rally is over.
The dollar, crude oil and copper charts have been giving bearish warnings for stocks for months.
DOW / SP500 downtrend commenced as forecast and the USD rally I forecast several months ago is just getting going.
My indicators can identify trend changes before they occur.
They warned me of an impending market crash back in early *2007*
The uptrend since March 2009 has been a bear market rally contained within a much larger bear cycle that started in 2000.
