He had a criminal drug conviction. My guess is the Army did not want him. High school friends said he is/was a pot head. I'm one. I'm right here and completely support people carrying. If there was one or more carrying there, perhaps they wouldn't have had to wait for him to empty his weapon before being tackled. If there was an alert and packing person(s), perhaps this bat-shit crazy, section-8.666, stark-raving-mad, grade-A, Number one, Ichi-ban, crazy motherfucker wouldn't have gotten a shot off, wounding anyone, much less killing a child. Maybe he would have thought twice knowing that entering an area where a large %age of people could be carrying would be a bad idea, and thus never went to commit this heinous act.

No it would not have been prevented the murder. One man in Wa state shot and killed 4 police officers having coffee in Lakewood, Wa. He suffered a wound and escaped. Incidents like this occur so quickly there is little to no time to defend.
Poor example - police are thinking "Offense". Citizen carrying is thinking "Defense". Unless the shooter is a seasoned practitioner, the time they take to aim/fire/aim - would give plenty of time for a defensive minded practitioner to draw, aim and shoot before 4 well placed shots are made by the bad guy.

The fact is that nobody armed or not, likely could have stopped him from shooting the first few people -- even armed to the teeth, the element of surprise is in the assailants favor. The fact Arizona is a state that allows concealed carry, didn't seem to deter him much. I for one do not feel safer in a situation where everyone is carrying a gun, all it takes is for an armed person to have a bad day & it's lights out for some innocent victim.

And as an Arizona resident, it doesn't bother me at all whether law abiding people carry openly or concealed. And criminals won't obey the law anyway.
Carry laws are not designed to make you feel more or less safe. I personally couldn't carry any less how safe you feel when I carry a handgun. The point of the law is that I feel safer carrying, and if you were willing to dedicate the time and money to become proficient with a handgun, you too, could feel safer carrying.
I agree with posters above that if multiple persons had been carrying at the rally, in all liklihood, one of their bullets would have found the shooter and stopped his rampage sooner.
I'm just kidding with you. In my early days of blogging I used to get a lot of that. Now I'm more mindful of checking grammar and spelling before I post thanks to people who point out these kinds of errors. I'm still not perfect though. IE7 pro is the add-on I use to check my spelling.

Regarding the videos:
1) In one video, he states "I wouldn't pay any debts that aren't denominated in gold and silver". Hence, he is clearly an advocate of a bimetallic (gold/silver) backed currency. Obviously he is therefore against fiat currencies. Therefore, logically, he would have to be against the USD. Therefore, he would probably also be against its issuer, the Federal Reserve, and its distributor, the US Treasury.
2) In the linked page above, the video both tries to illustrate that something is zero and can go to one, can also go to two and there. If it can go to 3, it can go to 700 billion and 4 trillion as well. He mentions that the time series of A.D.E. never ends. The question is, will the issuance of currency never end.
3) He is dreaming about a new currency. He says that there are only 5% dreamers in America. This implies that he concludes that a majority does not think this way. Combine that with his interest in the Animal Farm. It is not a stretch to conclude that the rest of the 95% using the old currency are living on the animal farm.
4) He illustrates that creating a currency is extremely simple. Anyone who can construct their own grammar can do it, so to speak.
5) He is "thinking of adding the 1 new symbol to the current alphabet". To that, most people would respond, 'well that's crazy, why would you add another letter'. But at the same time, most people accept that new money is added to the money supply. So, if it is crazy to add a new letter to the alphabet, then wouldn't it be crazy to add new money to the money supply?
6) He uses the phrase "unconstitutional money". Coinage act anyone?
7) He distinguishes distributing a currency "lethally" and "non-lethally" to people. The notion of competing means of debt payment comes to mind here.

He studied grammar and found out that grammar contains factual elements. He saw them everywhere. Most of his points are built on the same pattern, the one you underline.
Notice though that the pattern is rejected when he moved to a US army boot camp. The Army built its own grammar of reality when handing out that mini bible but the killer did not fit in.

And East Germany during the Cold War was a "Democratic Republic", because like the Nazis, that's what they called themselves, and they wouldn't lie.

The level of taxation in Nazi Germany was far lower than in the USA today. Hitler ordered the suppression of fractional banking and re-established a dictatorial monetary standard.
