The "english" used in the video looks like it was a second language for whoever posted the video; "I'm informing you for your new currency." And why just the text and no voice? He didn't own a microphone? Many don't, I guess, but it could have been easily tested for authenticity via voice analysis if a voice had been present.

if you want to see all five of his youtube videos before they're taken down (and if you're on the same version of his youtube site as i am), then you might want to open five tabs, open each video, and pause it as soon as it starts. while viewing, pause each video just before it ends, because each one transitions automatically into the next one, and i'm not sure whether you would be able to re-view the previous one(s) after that, if the page is taken down in the meantime.

I agree 100%. Have seen it with my friend's son. A+ student, quiet, exceptional athlete, gifted artist (had worked on album covers for a very well known band). Never gave his parents or sibling any reason to doubt he was normal. Graduated high school. That summer immediately after grad he put together a portfolio in a couple days and got accepted into a very respected art school. The examiners commented that they had not seen that kind of talent for a long time. Within a month he snapped and that was five years ago. Althought he has not hurt anyone yet, you can see darkness in his eyes, his reality is incomprehensible to you or I. In his case medication helps a bit but he's not right. It is sad really.

The really bad people are able to open up to it and use it because it doesn't bother them. They are part of it. Beyond that, you have to look to the main cause of non-organic psychosis, which is rapid change. Our society is changing rapidly, and Jared seems to have taken in all of the areas that are up for grabs at the moment; our currency, our government, our religion. I think too much change tipped Jared into psychosis.

More than anything, this event should be a clarion call for better mental health care funding. We have existing laws that keep guns out of the hands of psychotics...where did Jared get his Glock? Concur 100%. I had a girl friend who I watched go into this over the course of 4 or 5 years. Fortunately, she was harmless, but the progression of the illness has consequences. There were a lot of parallel worlds shits, mind control stuff, aliens, secret "Truman Shows" and whatnot. Also knew a kid who had a psychotic break and was committed briefly. Because I knew this other girl, he was easy to diagnose, just ask him if the A/C units outside the window are talking to him. He was batshit, highly disoriented.
Yeah, unfortunately my take on this kid comes from some personal contact as well. I hope the people you've known came out of it OK. It must be absolutely terrifying.
Didn't Mark Vonnegut write his memoirs about this malady in "The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" or something like that? His dad's stuff was strange but entertaining, Mark's was weird to me because it was "Billy", (a la Slaughterhouse 5), in the first person. Pretty weird.
well, no they didn't actually. The latter better than the former, lost track of the boy. But the girl still calls me periodically from halfway houses or outpatient or sometimes back in psych lockup.
She may have smoked her brain with dex or adderall, but friends of hers from HS said she was always crazy. This is not an illness she is going to shake off, unfortunately.
