So after our own government "intervenes" in everything via massive money-printing, trillion-dollar stimulus programs and bank bailouts, and fudged economic data, we're going to point fingers at others for "interventionist" policies?  WOW.

WOW is right---the hypocrisy and downright arrogance of these clowns is beyond belief---truly beyond belief.   Of course, Dodd and Geitner are both criminals who standard modis operandi is to lie, cheat, and steal their way to whatever objective they may have.

Virtues such as honesty and integrity mean nothing to these dirt bags so when considered in that light, it really is not suprising that Dodd and Geitner would call the kettle black.

Golly, let's just flat out ignore British Royalty its pet narcotrafficers (Sassoons) and the little ruckus they started in China (Opium Wars) when the Emperor of China wished to discontinue sales of that substance into their kingdom.

Brits used their military, won, re-opened their drug routes, and got Hong Kong as restitution.

Let's also completely ignore the Blood relations between British royals (Holy Roman Empire) and folks like say...every single President since the First one.

Yeah they do all walk the Bloodline (I mean Red Carpet).

They are not criminals because they own the country.

You are their chattel, so you and I have no rights.

And while we are ignoring reality, let's just ask one more question:

"What flower in Afghanistan that yields a $950B / year crop was burned by the Taliban and makes one hell of a better motive for invasion than the cover story?"

"In 2001, prices surged tenfold from 2000, to a record high, after the Taliban all but eliminated opium poppy cultivation across the Afghan territory under its control. So why, with last year's bumper crop, is the opposite not occurring?"

Have to wonder what it's like to live life as a dumb, ignorant fuck.  These folks probably jack off to pictures of Bush... the savior(s) from the evils of neoliberalism (never mind that by the very definition the Bushes are/have been hardcore neoliberals)

And, before you junk me you fucks, I did NOT vote for Obama.  Actually I don't vote: ain't going to support a corrupt system.

Has there ever been a greater example of courrption in the U.S Senate than Chris Dodd who has at every juncture placed the interests of the bankers over the American public to ensure his 30 pieces of silver are awaiting him when he leaves the Senate?

This "creature" should be on trial.

A quick and speedy trial and than a public beheading----seriously----if you beheaded this dirt bag along with his criminal friends, perhaps that would serve as a deterrent in the future.  As it stands now, dirt bags like Dodd must absolutely revel in the the fact that while some might have outrage, nothing ever happens to them so they just keep on taking and screwing and whatever because there are no ramifications to their terrorist crimes against American citizens.

It would be a glorious day to see Dodd and Frank publicly beheaded, not with a guillotine, but rather, the way the terrorists do it----the old fashioned way with a small knife where it takes multiple "saws" to get the job done.  Wonder if CNBS would air that:)

Nepotism, cronyism and the elimination of merit advancement in this society is how we have the incompetent oligarchy and their political class puppets we have today.
