I am certain that Spain is next because their Finance Minister keeps assuring everyone that everything is a-okay. This article was written last November. May the State fall. Quietly, peacefully, and without violence, due to the sharp-edged sword of the market. But it won't be like that.

The market is like a gigantic river. Idiots like this can build economic "dams" to try to change the course of the river, which last awhile. But, eventually, without fail, a small leak starts, and it gets bigger; cracks appear and widen.

The problem is, as everybody is fixing the cracks, nobody will see the sudden and complete failure until it is too late for the schmucks working on the dam, and all the people who live downstream, to get out of the way.

A catastrophic change will occur. Just like all the rest of history; bumbling along, oblivious, until all of a sudden, one day, the Mongols appear. And suddenly, "without warning" (they will all say), things are catastrophically different.

It is coming. Nobody knows when. But the event is an absolute certainty.

As a good friend of mine, and excellent businessman used to say "In those times, better ten years too early, than one day too late".
