Loughner Mug Shot Released

Tyler Durden's picture

From ABC15:

The suspect in a deadly Tucson shooting is being held without bail
and has been assigned a lawyer who defended Oklahoma City bombing
conspirator Timothy McVeigh.

Jared Loughner entered the courtroom
Monday handcuffed and wearing a tan inmate uniform. His head is shaved
and he has a cut on his right temple.

Loughner made his initial
court appearance in federal court at 2 p.m. at the Sandra Day O’Connor
U.S. Courthouse, while state charges have yet to be filed.

The court set Loughner’s preliminary hearing for Jan. 24.

ABC15’s Corey Rangel was at the courthouse this afternoon. Stay with ABC15 throughout the day for updates.

Loughner
described as a social outcast with wild beliefs steeped in mistrust
faces a federal court hearing on charges he tried to assassinate Rep.
Gabrielle Giffords in the Tucson shooting rampage that left six people
dead and wounded 14 others.

His expression was impassive as he
walked in, looked straight at the crowd at the back of the room packed
with reporters, then turned around to speak to his attorney, Judy
Clarke. He responded "yes" when asked if he understood his rights.

Well turd you gotta keep perspective. He wants to put his face on coins and be a king. This puts him squarely in central banker territor. So we have to examine him relative to other kings.

Forceful inclusion into your system -fiat currency. You are forcefully included into the system. By law by law enFORCEMENT. To the benefit of the central bankers.

Forceful exclusion of your system- You have to kill people who won't do what you want or punish them or conform them or margianialize them.

Killing kids. This sucks but we gotta stick with relative to his peers. Bernanke and geihtners IRS-CIA-IMF gang kills kids by the 10,000 of thousands every year. Either through starvation by installing dicators running up debts and then sticking a "free" government with the dictators debts or just by plain using terroist groups during the installation or removal phase of the dicatator part. I mean 3 million people died during the dicator removal stage with Iraq. You know some of them had to be kids.

Relative to the other money masters I'd say a fair punishment would be 10 minutes on CNBC lying about the housing bubble so he can work on his lying skills.

Good comment.

This ass hat Loughner will be made an example out of.  Like it nor not, a politician is a public officer.   There is a process for change, and unless the nation is in civil war this guy made an assault on citizens of AZ in addition to each person murdered.  Arizona will deal with him appropriately when the Fed's are done, that is assured.

There is no logical conclusion for an argument where innocent lives are taken to further personal cause.   This includes banks and the economy too.

"Look at your heroic polititians, bravely facing the dangerous world, bringing you democracy, hope and change."  This is the spin... it makes me want to puke.

I don't really know this lady and I am not sure that she "deserved" this.  There are people in power who kill far more and her shooting will only give them more of a mandate to take our rights and kill in our name.

Having a gun does not a soldier make.

Most of us cannot focus through the speed and shock of real violence because we are not used to it.  There is a reason soldiers and psychologists talk about "being hardened by war".  Even if he was a slow shooter he could have unloaded his clip in 6-10 seconds.  To a highly trained person, that is a lot of time, to the rest of us in that situation, it is an instant.

If you won't conform your thoughts of violence and rebellion towards the government and won't self censor and be expression controlled then you'll be brutalized by the power structure. All a part of enhancing safety for our institutionalized criminal overlords.

The deciding factor for criminal behavior is if you have to run or fight law enforcement you are criminal if you do the same things criminals do but don't have to run because law enforcement conspires with you then you are king.

I feel you. I am a professor. Our asses are in a sling if we don't report someone making death threats. Too much hot campus action lately if you know what I mean. Ditto psychologists and other health care professionals. I had a student who was on the edge, I did everything to not report him, but it kept escalating. I finally had to do it and did not feel good about it. Judicial affairs got involved and while I was terrified during the whole thing, being hauled in for a talk was a wakeup call for the guy. The guy got angry with me about it, stalked me a little, but he got scared about his future and stopped. But honestly, there was a little bit of time there I wondered if I was dead. This stuff isn't easy.

If you read the article, the guy supposedly is blaming all kinds of others rather than being the one to report, himself, what he knew about it.

Do you people around here have a fuckin CLUE what "collateral damage" means?  It means INNOCENT DEAD PEOPLE, often WOMEN and CHILDREN.  We have seen our commanders doing the equivalent of high fiving that they blew up a house with 3 high value "AQ" targets and 15-20 innocents.

The greatest tragedy in America was this?  Clearly, your world is VERY small.  What affects you is not this.  Not this at all.  What does affect you is the trillions in MBS securities fraud, bank bailouts and the general looting of what-is-left-of-the-US-economy...for starters.  Perhaps reflecting on what DOES affect your life as opposed to what DOESN'T would be a good start.

The judge was an 'awesome man'?  Pfft!  This was the federal judge who ruled against Clinton in the Sheriff Mack gun control victim disarmament case and was also in the process of ruling in a key case against the Obama administration in a move to seize homes and people’s bank accounts without due process.  Not that those matters earned him a right to die.  But he was not an awesome nor an honorable man.

Also, 'Gabby' was formerly a Repugnicant before she crossed the aisle to the Demobrats side.   Not that it means anything.  There is no 'left' and 'right' any longer.  The US Congress, as anyone knows, is corrupt and filled with useless people, either Rep. or Dem., whose job is to ensure that corporations get what they want while you get the shaft, your job is off-shored and a record 43 million of your fellow Americans are on food stamps.

Now THOSE are tragedies.

One of...I said "one of".

And if the fact that some fuckhead shoots a little girl and then the whole country erupts with tired rhetoric is not a message to you then fucking wake up.  Nobody has a clue what to make of anything anymore and they are freaking out.  Krugman is blaming the right the right is blaming whoever the fuck they are blaming.  Everyone is looking for answers and no one is finding any.  And I am not talking about Loughner, he is a sicko.  I mean you, me, Trav, JW, no one knows what to make of this.  And if you think you do, you don't.  Because the definition of tragedy is that it is not suppossed to happen.  Little girls are not supposed to die like that.

Tthis shit ain't supposed to happen, but whatever, it did, and it is a tragedy.  Should we just move on, or can we examine it for a while.  I recomend we examine ourselves, take a look at the sky, and realize, the world is bigger than what it appears to be.

Because the definition of tragedy is that it is not suppossed to happen.  Little girls are not supposed to die like that.

You're absolutely correct.

Perhaps you should apply that logic to the many children who are killed by US drone attacks on the Pakistan/Afghanistan border.  Some 1,000 people were killed in 2010, up from 700 in 2009.  Many, if not most, of those were innocent civilians.  Pick your 'TRAGEDIES' accordingly.

You may also want to look up stats in and around the US to find out how many kids are killed by guns.  Know that you're waving around one dead girl when there are many.  I guess they aren't important to you becuase they don't make the news.

In our latest annual report, Protect Children, Not Guns 2010, and in a special section on gun violence in The State of America’s Children 2010, we show that in 2007, 3,042 children and teens died from gunfire in the United States—eight every day—as a result of homicide, suicide, or accidental or undetermined shootings. Almost six times as many children and teens suffered non-fatal gun injuries, which have serious physical and emotional consequences. Random violence, especially in poor communities, drives thousands of vulnerable young people into the pipeline to prison where they remain trapped with little chance of escape. Consider these other startling facts on gun violence from our research:

Since 1979 gun violence has ended the lives of 110,645 children and teens in America. Fifty-nine percent of them were White and 37 percent were Black. Fifty-six percent were homicides and 31 percent were suicides. The 3,042 deaths of children and teens from gunfire in 2007 nearly equaled the total number of U.S. combat deaths in Iraq through February 2010. More Black children and teens died from gun violence in 2007—1,499—than all the military deaths in Afghanistan since America’s engagement in that war began nine years ago. Black males ages 15–19 are more than five times as likely as their White peers and more than twice as likely as their Hispanic peers to be killed by firearms.

There is your damn tragedy!

Liberals spend just as many dollars (blood soaked dollars) on war as the other party.  Liberals think that disagreeing with republicans makes them right.  Liberals have never heard of a strawman argument.  Liberals hope for change, but keep their heads in the sand.  Did I miss anything about the hypocritical political class known as democrat?  Oh they believe that cow farts are changing the temperature of the earth.  It is not the sun that does that, it is cow farts.  Oh and they want to take away guns.  And they support the republicans, except they pretend not to.  No I bet it is you who does not understand the paradigm.  There is no left and there is no right there are only two sides of this paradigm.

But guess what, the choices, yes your choices, are unlimited.  What people do not realize is we make our world, for better and worse.  All the choices of the world rest on each others conscience.  Does it make you feel better to associate yourself with the herd and blame another group?  That is common.  Try stepping out of the house that the monopolists have built for you, and look to the heavens.  There are answers even if we may never find them.  We might as well look.

Not sure what that means. It's hard to imagine a life without someone in public service. I suppose we could all police ourselves and put out our own fires and heal our own wounds. Maybe, in some places, people would do that for each other. Not sure.

Well guess what, at this rate it's what you'll get. We'll see then if the end of "public service" was what everyone really wanted. My sense is, people will wonder what went wrong.

All so called public service is predation because the services are provided by command rather than at request and all government funding is obtained through coercion.

The fire departments in my area are volunteer. But even if that weren't the case don't you think that it would be possible to pay people directly to fight fires rather than going through an inefficient government bureaucracy first? Why do you pretend that without government one could not have fire fighters?

Not very imaginative. My first college room mate was an amateur ham radio operator and voluntary member of his cities fire department. My grandfather could set simple fractures and basically anything that wasn't a nasty radial compound fracture.

Modern life. I was poisoned with mercury almagalm fillings at about 8 years old they've made me progressively sicker as my life has progressed. Every doctor I've ever visited has gone derp derp as to causation on this. Yet you can shoot people in the head and they can keep them alive. It's hard to resolve the vast differences between medicines competence and incompetence. Since sept 11 2009 ordirnary citizens have stopped or foiled more terroism than every newly created department to deal with it.

I discovered the mercury almalgam problem after staunchly refusing to do anything involving any person reguarding my health. I will not go to a doctor and I will not go to a dentist. I recieved a dream where i was looking a tooth that this person had a problem with and she said she was a dental heigeinist. I asked what the formula was for the filling material and recieved no answer. This lead me to search for filling material compositions and I finally discovered the mercury/silver almalgam material.

This doesn't make dreams a trusted source of information. They are huge liars. But they will finally give you the truth if you press them hard enough.

Doctors are not "ordinary" people. They use mostly aggregated energy. Their warm healing energy is not specific to the individual and they do not generate it. Most of them are emotionless sociopaths themselves. Capable of extreme harm up to and including viewing us simply as things to experiment on. Treating us entirely as piggy banks or walking wallets with no qualms whatsoever about taking everything someone has for a small chunk of their time or effort or ruthlessly picking at peoples insecurities for plastic surgery profits. They are so well fed energy wise it's hard for them to even maintain a relative understanding of what it's like to exist in the vampired class.

I do not like this place. I do not want to invest energy in it. I do not want to be bullied around by monopolized companies, monopolized justice, monopolized 'truth'. The only satisfying job you could offer me here is assisted suicide specialist.

I think the point here is that good guys need more guns, not less.

The alternative to the police state is a state where citizens can carry guns for protection.

Just imagine if this monster tried to pull out a gun (which he only acquired weeks ago) in a crowd that was packing.  The death toll might have been 1 or 2, plus him.

There will never be enough police to stop this sort of thing.  But, this kind of violence is unacceptable.  We want more freedom, not less.  How can these ideas work together.

The answer to me (unless I am crazy too) is to take back some amount of responsibilty for our safety and lives.

If a person was packing and took this guy down before he could hurt anyone else he'd be a national hero.

If we can't focus our judgement due to the concealing nature of this operation then our judgements are most certainly misused by being "personalized" through our own experiences.

"Actually there was at least one trained Concealed Weapons present and armed during that shooting. He made the decision not to draw and fire, but instead engaged the gunman physically."

And that's a very good thing because for once, rather than the typical case where some nut kills a bunch of people and then kills himself or is killed by others, usually cops, we hopefully find out what brought the nut to this point. However, in pretty much open and shut cases like this, the prosecution, the only party that has the ability to investigate leads thoroughly with the force of law, do not want to complicate the case and go for the easy conviction with minimum side issues. This was the case in the OKC bombing prosecution where the prosecutor didn't want to complicate "sure thing" convictions by introducing John Doe 2, 3, 4, etc.

I guess the Ft Hood shooter's court date is still pending.

does anyone think this sends a message to the rest of Congress?  Or does it just promote the hiring of more bodyguards for elected officials and the corrupt game continues?

The only message CONgress ever gets is from those who line their pockets and grease their palms.  That wouldn't be us, of course.

Yes, too bad he couldnt get some recognition another less violent way ... maybe he could have learned just to insult people and say stupid things, for example, on ZH where he would get a lot of responses and make him feel important.
