The following video is a must watch 4 minutes of content that will never be seen on mainstream TV. Some jarring images of what US society has unfortunately devolved to. As the narrator says: "This is what a dumbed-down, morally bankrupt, completely broken society looks like, and this is how it behaves. No outrage over the bankers raping them, no outrage over their gutted industry, no outrage over their plundered dollar. Just blind, wanton stupidity. Just bread and circuses."

The narrator's credibility plummeted when he described an airline contrail as "missiles launched off the coast of California."
That was my thought too.
The video was just a bunch of people "from the other side of the tracks" in a store behaving in a totally predictable fashion. The narration was worse than the video. What a prig!

if you want to hang your hat on something such as liberty and patriotism, like the producer of the vid did, might as well honor the constitution - that which gave us freedom of religion. if anything, it takes away from the message for me.
No it wasn't the Constitution, it was the Declaration of Independence. Cite the correct source of authority.
... and those rights didn't come from God irrespective of DOI drafters thinking they did. Nowhere in the bible are said rights declared. They come from the founders of the nation who declared them as some of the fundamental laws for the nation. They are man-made law, having nothing to do with God.

The only excuse for this kind of deal hunting, is if these people plan on "flipping" the merchandise on Ebay, Craigslist, etc. and if they then use their gains to take care of their families.

Except you half destroy your video by the utterly pointless, stupidity at the end, asking for "God to bless the republic".
First of all, there is nothing religious about honesty, ethics, justice, liberty, rationality, responsibility, individualism... or "saving the republic". Everyone (religious and not) has an equal interest in not being lied-to, cheated, scammed and enslaved. In fact, because their most fundamental belief is the most extreme form of authoritarianism, religious folks are more likely to support human authoritarianism than non-religious folks.
Furthermore, the whole point of the video is we must do something about this problem. By asking "god" to "bless us", you imply that --- to some degree --- god will take care of us. Nothing could be further from the truth... just look at the history of mankind for endless evidence of this.
Otherwise, good video.

We are all looking out for ourselves and nobody else. Lets use an example of a family of 5 living in a house. If everybody looks out for themselves, who is looking out for the house/country. Nobody, so the house/country slowly falls into disrepair and it starts to look it's age. We are an empire that is going through another stage of it's existance.
