The Middle East is in the news a lot ... rightfully so.

But - unfortunately - there are still many newsworthy occurrences back in the other Gulf ... the Gulf of Mexico.

  chemicals” found in BP’s oil — One has already “suffered severe
  respiratory problems as a result”

I can't say what I really think. We all know why.

I can say that I am greiving, scared, and kind of hopeless about it.

That statement has a subtle clarity in it.

To big to fail is a cage. I note what you say by a recent dramatic spike in local investment and venture (garage) capitalism nowadays.   It used to be that hardly anyone worth a salt with a penny showed up to those gatherings -- not any more.   

In my opinion there is no better way to invest in risk you can actually see and touch.   The next bubble is local, or outside of the cage.
