Aeroflot was losing some business after the December storms shut down Sherametyvo. The smart Russkies think this was a business attack. Domo is a new airport with mainly Aeroflot competitors, not the prime Russian airline. The damaged reputation of Aeroflot has been boosted with the black eye on Domo, even though no real damage happened and they kept operating similar to the metro after the most recent subway bombings.  

BTW, a cab back to the city after the bombing cost 30,000 Rub, or approx $1k. Gotta love the goodwill spirit here.
