Next Domino: Syria Shuts Down Internet Service
With Egypt pretty a done deal, many are wondering who is next. Al Arabiya provides the answer: Syria has just shut down its internet service. And as one glance at the map below suggests, should this indeed be the case, and if Jordan promptly follows suit, Israel will be surrounded by revolutions. Which is surely a reason for WTI to plunge another 20%.

The market was taking a high-dive this morning as CNBC was talking about the riots in Egypt. It is probably safe to predict that we won't be seeing too much more about that over at CNBC for the rest of the day. The last thing that they want to do is cause another flash crash by reporting things that are occurring in the real world vs. continued conjecture about how high the markets are likely to go in the ponzi world.
