No Bail For DSK, Next Court Hearing May 20

Tyler Durden's picture

As Daily Telegraph reporter Jon Swaine notes via Twitter, DSK has been denied bail, and has been remanded to stay in custody until the next grand jury hearing which is due for May 20. Looks like DSK will now be mugshotted and stay in jail for 4 days. And so the IMF continues to be headed by a man about to spend 72 hours in prison.

What?... No BAILout for DSK?

Irony defined!

Maybe his daughter can bring him lunch..!!

IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, better known as DSK, was having lunch with his daughter at the time when the sexual assault he is alleged to have committed supposedly took place, his lawyers say, according to French radio RMC.

“The IMF remains fully functioning and operational.”

What a crock of shit!

Herman Strandschnecke's picture

The IMF remains fully functioning and operational.”  Then what was his role if he's not missed? Surplus to requirements-au revoir.

PulauHantu29's picture

BooHoo....I thought his defense would be the "OJ glove doesn't fit" story.

DSK can plead like only a frenchman can, 'I'm too big to fit into her tiny mouth."

Hey, the courtroom scene could be interesting.

They should get Shatner to deliver the prosecution opening statements...

He may get desperate and revert to claiming he's not into girls.

Now the timeline is being brought into question. The NYPD is now revisiting the hotel videos and the assertion the DSK was leaving in a hurry to have lunch with his daughter.

Next act: DSK is found hanging in his cell.
He knows too much and it would be most unfortunate for TPTB if he opened his trap.

Wow....not even in IMF gold? Tough judge.

While the sheeple cheer "justice served", the rug under them is being pulled.

Funny thing about him being a flight risk - the head of the IMF based in Washington! As for all the assertions about him "fleeing" the scene of the crime, that too is ridiculous.

He boarded flight 23 to Paris at 4pm Saturday (10pm Paris Saturday) due to arrive there Sunday morning (~5-6am Sunday local time, flight duration 7-8hrs). He had a meeting with Angela Merkel in Berlin on Sunday morning, so even if the meeting had convened at 11:59am, he would have had just enough time to go home, shave, change and pop out again to catch another flight to Berlin (Flight duration 1hr 35mins) to make it. It's seriously close, so I doubt he was even planning to go home when he arrived in Paris. Is that "fleeing", or trying to make a very hard schedule?

Ahmeexnal's picture

IMF gold? I believe such gold has now vanished while the sheeple are distracted with the current "justice served" MSM brainwash.

Careless Whisper's picture

not really that tough.

we don't have an extradition treaty with france for french citizens. (see polanski)

soon:  WCBS reporter Mary Metro has the story----

"A surprisingly tragic development in the story today of accused IMF head DSK, as he was found xxxxxxxx in his cell and unresponsive to rescue attempts..........

Goldman & JP Morgan CEO's about to be indicted on derivative trash bucketing offenses those institutions have been peddling. Due to evidence turned over to the US SENATE BANKING COMMITTEE...and the Senate Banking committee has recommended criminal prosecution.

Derivatives are on the same level as naked shorting trash.

here's something to chew on, whether you want to believe it or not - the bulk of the evidence turned over against these TREASONOUS SCUMBAG banksters was none other than the the head of the IMF, 2 Days later arrested in NY. He may be a pervert but I smell a squid.

Holy +1, well played!

I wonder if he realizes what they will be using for currency behind bars?

The excuse for global financial disaster and QE 3 is now sitting in jail.

Mission accomplished!

Kind of hard to argue the "no flight risk" when you get caught on a plane leaving the country......

Will they bathe him and dump his body at sea? Seems to be the MOD for terrorists, finanical or otherwise...

ReallySparky's picture

My thoughts too, it would be just to tempting to off him in some way.  Cell mate, heart attack, suicide.  I predict he does not make it out of jail.

I am guessing a cocktail including cocaine, viagra, and midazolam, shaken with 1.5 oz Remy Martin VSOP, 1.5 oz Dubonnet, and .5 oz Green Chartreuse, served in a chilled deep champagne saucer.

Should work better when the target is already french and a pervert.  Wait 10 minutes, and present with young chamber maid.

No pity for so called men of his kind

Now we'll see if he gets transferred to MCC New York under the guise of broad publicity management concerns.  Fact remains that it is simply astounding that a leading member of the CondomNation crew, the crew that insists on bending over and forceably fucking the population at large without consent, or a condom is now in jail for doing precisely that.

"And so the IMF continues to be headed by a man about to spend 72 hours in prison."

Who woulda thunk it?!!

Finally some news worth cheering about!

sure, kinda... but he also maintains that oh so special connection to the Middle East that is all the rage in the banker cult.

interesting. he has to go to a GRAND jury?

BobPaulson's picture

Yes, that does raise an eyebrow. Does he have any diplomatic rights as IMF kingpin?

Life of Illusion's picture

No more SDR talk out of him.

Steaming_Wookie_Doo's picture

No shit. Geez, he must've pissed *someone* off. Otherwise these ghouls get a free ride in abusing individuals and whole countries. So is this a paradigm shift or simply a turf war?

Life of Illusion's picture

IMF, broker lending for preferred clients creating debt secured by countries real assets.  Loan defaults resulting in asset ownership change and/or austerity for the people. The program was obviously getting politically incorrect as someone was getting left out of the asset grab.

Who’s their next representative?????

Ecoman11's picture

It's becoming more clear that they do not want him to attend the IMF bailout meeting for some unknown reason. The Euro bailouts will be imposed while DSK is locked up.

I suspect something big is on the horizon.

BanksterSlayer's picture

@ecoman11 I believe you are right. This story is much more than a silly little rehearsal for an upcoming episode of Law & Order. Sooo ... I wonder what was Blythe Masters doing at the time of the alleged incident, hmmmm?? I wish she would conveniently leave her cell phone behind, somewhere.
