Nobel Peace Prize Recipient To Award Old Hypocrite Medal Of Freedom For Most Successful Circle Jerk Execution In History

Tyler Durden's picture

Yes, it's official. The whole has gone crazy. The rape and pillage of the middle class is now awarded with prizes and medals.

President Barack Obama will name Warren Buffet as one of fifteen winners of the 2010 Medal of Freedom, a White House official said on Wednesday.

Buffet, one of the world's most successful investors who has donated a vast chunk of his multibillion dollar fortune to charity, will receive the medal at a White House ceremony early next year. The award is the highest U.S. civilian honor.

Buffet is one of Obama's closest defenders in the business community and the president has sought his counsel dating back to the 2008 presidential campaign and since.

"There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call... The Ponzi Zone!" - Rod Serling

This is an old and honored tradition, that of awarding the tools of the state shiny medals and life time employment in the private sector for having successfully implemented the directives of the masters of the universe. This should have been obvious to all when Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his continuation of the never ending Imperial Empire wars.

The history books are always written (and revised) by the winners. Rest assured these weighty tomes will always tell us who's to be admired and who's to be scorned. They aren't writing these books for you and me. They're writing them for our kids and grand-kids. The future of indoctrination lies (sic) with our children.

Well CG, the good thing is your reply leaves me hopeful there will still be such things as "lists" and "books" when my kids are my age.

I'm not quite so hopeful, my feeling is this shit won't mean anything, nor will anyone be around to print the tales.

The Medal of Freedom from Investment Loss.

This is the prize for backing Obama during the electoral process of 2008.

Buffet has lots of money, as his ass was saved for him by Bernanke and Geithner, but he always wanted a shiny Medal of Freedom.

Next up - Obama will award an Oscar to Bill Clinton and a Grammy to Larry Craig.

My suggestion would be the Medal of Free Money. But yes: what do you get the man who has everything? I'd mainly see it, though, it as a PR move - reward a high-profile business figure who's Democratically-correct as well as revered by both the public and other businessmen, as a safe way to show that Obama's really very business-friendly after all. Mission accomplished...

If you understood how foundations operate then I don't think you would be so supportive. Gates is investing in Pharmacuetical research heavily. Africa and other third world countries are the laboratories. Reminiscent of the Rockefellers. Also no taxes and they still have access to their cash.  Buffett is a trustee. On face value it looks clean but you have to dig deeper. There is a lot more info on this than I am posting.

The elite can control economies. They do. They can not control population growth (one of their biggest fears) without continuing to export war, famine & disease and finally in the end "corporate genocide".

It can happen through the use of a "bad batch" of vaccine or something as simple as putting a sterilizarion agent in all of the Coke-A-Cola that gets shipped to target country X

I'm not impressed Harry. Why doesn't Gates feed the homeless in his own city if hes' so big on charity? Africa? Plenty of hurting people right there. And why not contribute to fix the freeways that are clogged from his monopolistic company that created the traffic jams in the first place? And BTW, good to see Gates Sr's attempt to extract more taxpayer money (via a state income tax) was shot down.

Funny how all these rich people want to tax the rich and poor meanwhile they don't pay any taxes anyway. Reminds me of Ted Kennedy's speeches on taxing the rich while most of his families money was in a trust. Fucking hypocrites.

Thank God for that.  Anyone with common sense could see that the tax would have "trickled down" to the middle and lower class in a few years.  I just loved how Gates Sr. and Christine Gregoire pulled strings and finagled a 60 Minutes interview with Leslie Stahl the Sunday before Election Day.  Yet another shill for the NWO...

Gates Foundation - 100 million to IRRI

IRRI was started by the Rockefeller Foundation and Ford Foundation under the guise of helping poor rice farmers (Asia) in 1959. Well have they helped the poor rice farmer. No. So where did this technology go, to the corporations such as Monsanto and their genetically modified seed and food program. What are the benefits to doing business this way? You recieve land for free from the Philipine Government and donatians from others which is tax free money because you are a non-profit. Also the non profits (IRRI) recieve money and grants from governments which is probably lent to them from the IMF and World Bank for the advancement of agriculture. Then these corporations introduce their genetically modified seed program in which you have to buy their seeds which are the only ones resistant to their pesticides. Mark up the price and pay off a few gov. offficials to enforce its use then rake in huge profits. Meanwhile these people in the loop have got in on bargain prices of the stock. Take your proceeds and donate them to your own Foundation for a tax deduction and recycle. Of course there is more to it than this but I don't have the time to post it all.

AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria are three of the world’s largest killers. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has donated millions of dollars to help sufferers of these diseases. It seems however that the funding from the foundation has failed to reach the particular needs of societal health that parallel the problems of these major infectious diseases. "Gates-funded vaccination programs have instructed caregivers to ignore – even discourage patients from discussing – ailments that the vaccinations cannot prevent" With such concentrated focus on the vaccinations that are made available, talk of any other ailments may congest patient outpost and vaccination lines. Additionally, hindering people the chance to discuss other ailments is problematic, because a trip to a vaccination line may be the only contact that person will have with healthcare personnel for many months or years.

Bet they are meeting the Pharmaceutical companies needs. Glaxo-Smith and Merk.

Look into the Reese Commission (Warren Dodd) they investigated foundations in 1954. Found some startling info on their agendas or keep your eyes closed.

(Tax deductible) Charity by the rich is just the modern day version of the Middle Ages Catholic Church handing out Indulgences for bribes.....err.....payments. The State was the Church back then. In many ways, it still is.

However, the later Middle Ages saw the growth of considerable abuses. Greedy commissaries sought to extract the maximum amount of money for each indulgence.[33] Professional "pardoners"[4] (quaestores in Latin) - who were sent to collect alms for a specific project - practiced the unrestricted sale of indulgences. Many of these quaestores unfortunately exceeded Church teachings, whether in avarice or ignorant zeal, and promised impossible rewards like salvation from eternal damnation in return for money.

Wangmun, you're statement makes you look like a tool (sorry, i'm trying to be nice here). You have to wonder if Warren Buffett is the best as redistributing wealth. In general, would charity be needed more or needed less in a world where there were fewer capital hoarders like Buffett?

I am going to ask a serious question here: How rich is rich enough? When does it get to the point of  just being for show? At what point does excessive individual wealth start to hurt society at large?

Well, I really don't know warren buffett so I can't tell you if he is a horrible person. I'll tell you that I hold the billionaires who don't give as freely as buffett in much lower regard.

Buffett has a net worth of 37 billion according to the Internet [ http://www.forbes.com/lists/2009/10/billionaires-2009-richest-people_Warren-Buffett_C0R3.html  ]. It took him almost 80 years to get it all. It's his life, he can live it as he wants to. He could make another 37 billion for all I care. I just don't understand why. I consider it capital hording. It seems to be an obsession with people like him. Maybe I'm delusional, this is just my perspective, but I suspect that merely possessing this amount of wealth does more damage to society than his (comparatively) meager charitable contributions make up for.

First let me state.  I hate Warren Buffett.  I think he's a liar and a fraud, and has front run the power of the federal government for years.

Now, what the hell is a capital hoarder? and who the hell has the right to tell me I can't hoard anything.   Charity is exactly that.  It is given of my own free will.   NOBODY  should be redistributing wealth let alone Uncle shatbag Warren.  If I don't break any laws, how is it that you and your comrades who think they are smarter than everyone else should be able to decide what I do with the fruits of my labor?  How rich is rich enough?  None of your damn business if it was earned legally and I didn't abuse the power of the government to get it.  And how does one person's wealth hurt society?   It actually helps society if a person get's rich in a free market environment.  Why?  Because it means that person produced something of value that someone else wanted to pay for that provided value to that person or saved them time.

The problem comes down to the fact the Uncle jizzload Warren and his buddies are using the Government as their own personal errand boy/body guard/shylock to fleece the taxpayer.  They are getting rich by exploiting some regulation that their puppet in goverment sets up to benefit them.  It definitely doesn't provide value it's just a mechanism to ensure there are barriers to entry to reduce competition for the Uncle smegburger Warrens of the world.   The government is picking winners and losers plain and simple.     I think the system is pretty much done.  I think the crash of the system will be the ugliest thing in recorded history.   That being said, the thing I'm most afraid of is the "workers of the world unite" crowd getting control after the system resets.  Either men are free or they are slaves.   In the end capital is just a store of my previous labor,  the claiming my labor in the name of redistribution or "social justice" makes me very very angry.   You can't make everyone equal.  You can only make them equally miserable.

sorry Harry, but the "dude donates billions" to Bill Gate's vaccination agenda.

In 2006, Mr Buffett made the largest philanthropic donation in US history, giving $37bn to the Gates Foundation.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/10499124

'We must make this the decade of vaccines,' he said. 'Vaccines already save and improve millions of lives. Innovation will make it possible to save more children than ever before.'

Mr Gates has now pledged £24bn to charitable causes, 66% of his £36bn fortune.

The world's biggest philanthropist is financier Warren Buffett who is committed to giving away 80% of his £30bn net worth.

Ten years ago Mr Gates also pledged £6bn, to be split between health and education causes, with half going on vaccines.

In his announcement at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Mr Gates urged governments and the private sector to match his investment in vaccines.
