The Constitution says you must be a 'natural born' citizen. Everybody is reading this as though it is the same thing as 'native born'. Obama IS 'native born'. He is NOT 'natural born'. If this distinction weren't important why does it read 'natural' and not 'native'?
'Natural born', according to the understanding of the Framers and according to a couple of Supreme Court rulings defining the term, means you must be born to TWO U.S. citizens at the time of your birth. (I'm not making this up. Go Google 'natural born'.) As Obama's father (now formally established in the birth certificate just released) was never a U.S. citizen, Obama was never 'natural born'.

The above is from the Supreme Court itself, long before Obama's parents were even born. So drop the natural born nonsense. In fact, prior to the 14th amendment, the court insisted that defining "natural born" was the responsibility of the states. The 14th amendment changed this but up until the 14th amendment, this wasn't even a federal matter.
Note that the above clause is exactly why illegal immigrants who have a child in the US can then (correctly) claim that their child is a US citizen. That child would also be eligible to run for president of the United States, once old enough to meet the other constitutional limitations.

Not that I care but...The state of Hawaii will give a certificate of birth (apparently short for Certificate of Live Birth) in the case of a person born in a foreign country. Why would they do that? Well, most babies born overseas to American parents get US citizenship through the parents. The exception to this would be a child born to mixed parents (meaning one US parent and one foreigner) and if the American parent did not meet certain age and US residency requirements. Barack’s father was never a US citizen. Barack’s mother, Ann Dunham Obama, was under the minimum age, 19 years old, so she could not have transferred US citizenship to her baby.

By your argument two underage kids who have a child could not declare their child a US citizen but it has nothing to do with the parent's declaration. It has to do with where the child is born, with exceptions made for military occupiers of US territory and foreign diplomats. Those are the only exceptions. All this does is confirm that his father was a Kenyan citizen, and in 1961 would have been a British subject. The release of this document confirms half of the birther argument, namely that Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen. To meet those requirements, Obama needs both parents to be US Citizens at the time of his birth. This issue will just shift now from the birth certificate to the constitutional requirements for being a "natural born" citizen
