Presenting The Survivalist's Dream Desktop

Tyler Durden's picture

Little commentary needed here, although why anyone would be on Yahoo is beyond us. If one can afford anti-aircraft artillery one would assume that at least a Bloomberg terminal should be up and running... which is probably the same reason why the Fed's POMO desk is also Bloomberg-less.

Algeria might be the next domino to fall because of Bernanke and company. Here are videos of the riots and even the hacking group Anonymous is getting in on the action!

The ZH crew are just jealous because they can't have a desktop like this one.

Sitting here with my wireless keyboard and mouse setup and a 46" HDTV monitor.    Not jealous at all :-)

See that headphone on the top?
Those are called Stax Omega II  electrostatic ear speakers, which requires a dedicated amplifier.
Google it and find out how much more it costs than your HDTV monitor, mouse and keyboard.

Tony: You know what your problem is?
Elvira: What's that?
Tony: You don't got nothing to do with your life. Why don't you get a job? Work with lepers. Blind kids. Anything's gotta be better than lying around all day waiting for me to fuck you.
Elvira: Don't toot your horn, honey. You're not that good.

I would hope so.  If that setup doesn't have EMP protection and a backup generator it isn't much good.  Also, he needs access to an alternative network, possible utilizing amateur digital communications.

I used to work in a Farady cage when I was helping design EPIRB's for boats. Every once in a while an EPIRB would go off and the coast guard would stop by to alert us. This is the one I worked on - 100% made in AMERICA:

Knowing what the hell an EPIRB is might make that sound more impressive.

judging from his taste in optics (the two eotech holosights - 5 o'clock), redundancy in the face of EMP is not a concern of his. those who worry about EMP usually choose to illuminate their reticles with fibre/tritium.

Class 3 Gun room... storage, cleaning and lock up as described by the Federal Documents submited. ATF have been there before. $300 to $500 an hour to be supervised by local law enforcement while discharging 3 of those guns / devices...

in most urban locals... to discharge a class 3 device... thump gun.. or better, you have to pay to be supervised.

if you are Palin's nieghbor and can open carry a sliencer in your state, then you live in BFE and maybe you dont need to be supervised.

FEDbuster's picture

Here in AZ (a BFE state?) the only reason the cops would watch you is because they are jealous.  They may pay you to play with those toys?  Remember the second amendment wasn't about duck hunting.

Yahoo is just the cover, the camouflage if you will. Forget all the weapons. Those are there to distract you from the real purpose of the set up.

Hacking. The next insurgency will take place in the severs of the world.

Is there anything Ben won't buy, put on the Fed's sheets, and make us, the taxpayer liable for? Debt slave that I am, I know I am here to serve our lords and masters.
