No visible shadows because the Sun is blocked out from the clouds of fiat dollars in the sky.
I'm not sure what happens when the "markets" close and night falls, but I'm fairly certain the vampires and werewolves are active and PuNXaTaWDRY BeN is deep in his hole dreaming of cabbage.
Maybe vampire squid can survive in this environment day or night but I'd bet they need dark pools of someone else's blood.

If you google the title of the article you will see a bunch of newsfeeders carrying ZH posts. But I don't think they are the key. People have to forward links, post to twitter and put links on places like Huff post. What i do is copy the url and post the link when I am reading related stuff.
An image like this one together with the text, really sends a message that people can relate to quickly.
As you probably know, I do this because i want to strike back at these people.
