Radiation Level At Fukushima Reactor No. 2 At Its Highest Level Recorded So Far, Neutron Beam Observed 13 Times
Per the Japan Nuclear Agency: the Radiation level at Fukushima reactor No. 2 at its highest level recorded so far. From Reuters: "Radiation at the crippled Fukushima No.2 nuclear reactor was recorded at the highest level since the start of the crisis, Japan's nuclear safety agency said on Wednesday. An agency spokesman said 500 millisieverts per hour of radiation was measured at the No.2 unit on Wednesday. Engineers have been trying to fix the plant's cooling system after restoring lighting on Tuesday." And some more truthy news from Kyodo:
Electric Power Co. said Wednesday it has observed a neutron beam, a
kind of radioactive ray, 13 times on the premises of the Fukushima
Daiichi nuclear plant after it was crippled by the massive March 11
quake-tsunami disaster.
TEPCO, the operator of the nuclear plant, said the neutron beam
measured about 1.5 kilometers southwest of the plant's No. 1 and 2
reactors over three days from March 13 and is equivalent to 0.01 to 0.02
microsieverts per hour and that this is not a dangerous level.
The utility firm said it will measure uranium and plutonium, which could emit a neutron beam, as well.
In the 1999 criticality accident at a nuclear fuel processing plant
run by JCO Co. in Tokaimura, Ibaraki Prefecture, uranium broke apart
continually in nuclear fission, causing a massive amount of neutron
beams.
In the latest case at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, such a criticality accident has yet to happen.
But the measured neutron beam may be evidence that uranium and
plutonium leaked from the plant's nuclear reactors and spent nuclear
fuels have discharged a small amount of neutron beams through nuclear
fission.

Well, I missed it.
But I've decided to go ahead and be alarmed anyway.
No one incident in the past two weeks has been a death knell, except of course for those who died. I mean in the larger sense.
But, our skeptics are all ignoring the trend line here.
If this thing were to end right now, you still cant get away from describing this in catastrophic tems.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the end of this will be unspeakably tragic.
If only if was merely footage from inside JPMorgue, as silver rose over $37. (It just did.)
"Run, run, we're all gonna diieeeee!"
Sigh.
I'll give it a 92 because it has a good beat and is easy to dance to.

WHY are these reactors not being entombed in concrete yet??
Because they are still ticking nuclear bombs. Also because:

I wish for you to know that one post of yours has had me reaching for the prepH and my Wild Turkey in the last 24 hours.
JFC.
How?
Matte_Black knows construction.
that's an incredible contribution to the conversation. Hopefully, those making decisions realize the scale of their problem. I didn't when I cavalierly and repeatedly wondered aloud why concrete pour hadn't yet started.
The Grim Reaper
Many are under the wrong impression. It is not my job to persuade anyone to go through the new gate system. I hope they don’t. My job was to make the old gate system transparent, to give everyone notice of the new system, and to start the kids off, which I am doing now. Those that the kids choose to connect with will go along for the ride. I will be laughing my arse off at the gate, because there is no point in crying, when everyone else shows up late and gets burned off by the perfect storm.
Everyone going along has already jettisoned their non-performing assets in return for the required adaptive skill set. Anyone that fails to make the window of opportunity will do so of their own accord. Nearly all were all trained from birth to be a pawn in a chess game they couldn’t see, only to be cast aside when used as designed, to rebuild themselves for the next chess game, and repeat the process, expecting a different result.
The women are now awakening to this harsh reality. They are specifically designed to consume efficiently, to induce their men to think one way while they do another, with female pride, leaving their men behind in the killing field created by Family Law, for legacy consumption. Now, it is time for everyone to reap what they have sown, not because they cannot go, but because they cannot willingly give up their habits, even with the gate wide open before them. Sex is a double-edged sword. Loving another more than self is the antidote.
Don’t expect the kids to wait any longer; their train is leaving the station and will not be back this way again. The legacy families cannot budge because they are packed quite specifically within the nucleus, locking each other in. They must release their external protons but cannot for force of habit.
The point of the obey clause in the marriage contract is to test both parties. The investor is only to use it to protect the consumer from the empire’s black hole. The problem with the civil contract for marriage is that it makes both men and women consumers, leaving no one to make the pie that everyone wants to eat. That is the point of Adam and Eve. You could just as easily make Eve the man and Adam the woman if not for the biological clock, which is the function of the great illusion, and the outcome would be the same.
Just start walking back and forth across the borders. There are a million of you for every one of them, Or don’t.
You are embarrassing yourself and your red brick uni.
show us your
neutron beams .....
The Neutron Beams are indicative of criticality happening and fission starting back again via the meltdown process. They have been lying to us for so long that they even believe it. Also those 50 or so men who are doing this where pressured because the Prime Minister said that if it isn't done we may lose eastern japan (Including Tokyo).
I don't think we lose eastern Japan, it will be right where it always was (plus or minus 6ft or so) - its just that it will be a prohibited zone for human habitation. Given enough time it could become a radioactive Garden of Eden, or maybe just some really cheap real estate.
On the plus side, if it did happen to go hot in Japan, Chernobyl could bill itself as the 2nd most radioactive place on earth.
What really sucks about all this for those poor people in Japan, is that this earthquake wasn't the big one that has been expected. That quake will still occur and is on an entirely different fault line that lies south of Tokyo. If I were Japanese I think I'd try to emigrate to Hawaii.
The entire region is cross-cut with thrust faults.
Do NOT expect 'the big one' to occur on the fault it occurred on last time, or the region it occurred in last time. It doesn't work that way.
Big ones, in history, are statistical, as a function of time, not location and energy release/time.
Actual reliable data on the mag and where the hypocentre was, and how deep, doesn't actually exist for the earlier events. Reliable data didn't really appear until about 1955 to 1965, as the US generously funded and rapidly setup a global nuclear weapon testing detection network.
Which is what the modern global seismic network really is. It also served a fortuitous secondary function of dramatically expanding the understanding of global seismicity.
This quake was 'a' big-one.
'The' big one ... yep, it was that too ... just look at the video.
The only big-one?
Nope.
The next one can occur anywhere, anytime, on any fault. In fact, sometimes these big quakes occur on faults we don't know about or else they create a completely new rupture. That is what the regional and global siesmicity tells us. A probability attaches to each regional 'forecast' of a big-one, and precious little that is reliable or verifiable attaches to these statistical forecasts.
The current event doesn't mean there will be another like it soon.
The current event doesn't mean there will not be another like it soon.
Many people hate that we don't know more than this, (some people even want to believe humans can control the damn things).
We actually don't know what sets these things off. No textbook or professor will tell you that, of course. But any honest seismologist will tell you that’s the state of play.
We think (i.e. like to think) it's earlier shocks and their movements, but there’s a lot to suggest that is not what causes or triggers them with time.
Obviously something does, but the elastic-strain explanation is full of holes - literally. The crustal rocks are the most discontinuous, most jointed, most permeable, and thus the most lubricated with fluids. So how does such staggering elastic strain build up in such structurally incompetent rocks?
i.e. Cut an elestic band in ten places, can you still stretch it? Nope, and if the crust is cross-cut by trillions times trillions of joint fractures on a scale of mm to hundreds of km (and it is), it also can not be 'stretched' to store such collosal energy in crystaline bonds, that snap-back to create a shock.
No one can offer a credible explanation for this, in which case;
Elastic Strain Theory = FAIL
Until we understand what it really is that sets up the preconditions for the shock, we can't know where an earthquake will occur, or when, or how big, beyond the historical statistical extrapolation.
