Radio Zero: Anti-Halloween Week
The market has been in anti-Halloween mode the last two quarters, cleverly hiding its true nature under a placid costume before exposing its real hockey mask clad self on Halloween weekend. How perfectly contrarian!
Join us, again, for a contrarian night at Studio Zero, where Radio Zero will bring you all the musicial highlights of our annual Halloween blow out party in real time as it happens. Early morning (East Coast time) linger for our traditional (invited) anonymous A-List DJ of the night- an exceptional treat with the most gob-smacking hard beats, no tricks (we promise).
Our test broadcast begins, well, now. Live stuff from yours truly? Think 6:30 - 7:00ish ET. The heat of the party? You'll know it when you hear it.
Listen here: http://cdo.zerohedge.com:8000/listen.pls
Or pick up our West Coast Mirror (with 1000 slots) here: http://72.13.86.66:8000/listen.pls thanks to the mind-blowing generosity of EGI Hosting.
Chat up the DJ (send your .mp3 files) here: radiozh.
Or... join our IRC server at chat.zerohedge.com #radiozh. If you just can't be bothered with an IRC client, we've provided one for you here. Otherwise, consider getting mIRC. You might find it useful in connection with new features Zero Hedge before too long... but if I tell you more about that I will have to buy your puts in size.

Timmy and Lloyd catching up on some R&R before they head out to steal the kiddies candy...

ZerOhead, that picture ranks near the top of my all time favorites and is hereby nominated as an instant ZH classic. Of course, with all those tentacles, Lloyd will be stealing a lot of candy Saturday night.
They'll be meeting up with Ben later...

YO MARLA I'M REALLY HAPPY FOR YOU AND IMMA LET YOU FINISH BUT TIESTO HAS ONE OF THE BEST DJ SHOWS OF ALL TIME. OF ALL TIME.
Mr. Market says BOO-yeh!! Happy Halloween everyone!
One has to wonder if they make a trick-no-treat Cramer mask for the festivities? Further, if one wears it out to the neighbors door step do they get mugged or do they get candy? I bet mugged.
good evening miss marla.
that last song was fantastic.
thank you.
How 'bout a ZH theme song/anthem? I recommend:

Quite skeptical before listening. But nothing to say, except: great music, Maria!
In Sin City and won't be able to enjoy the evening's festivities in this venue.
For all who feel alone in feeling that things have gone terribly wrong in this country, you'd have good company in Vegas. I'm fortunate to have some friends of friends who have been showing me around, beyond the flashing lights of Las Vegas Boulevard.
No one would even try to deny that this corner of the world at least is in a capital-D Depression. Visitors might notice the cocktails come at the tables come a little less frequently or a little more watered down. They might notice that the streets have more than usual prostitution promoters, more than usual folks selling water or trinkets.
The more perceptive would see that almost every face betrays a deep seated pain. Most do not even pretend to smile anymore.
The more curious might actually talk to someone living here. They would hear about how commissions (most Vegas jobs are on commission) are now starting to be capped. And even notwithstanding the caps, traffic is down tremendously further cutting into pay. When asked about opportunity or mobility or any hope for the future, it only exists anywhere but here.
Yet despite all that, there is a kindness and generosity of spirit that I've only seen in flashes and glimmers elsewhere. There is honesty and a clear eyed acknowledgement of the world as it is. Even with an economy as bleak as the deserts around us, there is beauty in the people who live here.
Crystal Method - Vegas: And I say this to you tonight...Let us not forget...there is hope

Nothing clears the mind and focuses the spirit quite like the certain knowledge you will be hanged in the morning. Call it compassion derived from shared suffering or even misery loves company but the best of humanity usually surfaces when the worst of humanity ascends to the throne.
Good shit!
Please put mp3!
Smack that bitch up!
a marla fav if its not a repeat, smack my bitch up
oh man this is hilarious
