I never really apreaciated how stranger truth is than fiction until this latest and possibly most severe leg down into economic hell. I've been on this roller coaster we call earth for over 50 years and this has gone so far beyond anything I ever imagined would, let alone could, happen. What have we created? It's not enough to say we live in insanity. We are insane.
On the other hand, after spending the last week reading in depth the history of all the various economic panics, recessions, depressions, engineered bailouts, political corruption and unbridled greed worldwide during the past 300 years, I no longer naively think we are experiencing unique times.
Or maybe we are. For the first time in human history, we are all linked instantly and completely by the Internet and ZH. Do we have the courage not only to recognize and understand the entirety of the economic fraud and abuse now occurring but to demand that it stop and to do what needs to be done if it's not?
Only time will tell. We have a choice. Be essentially an impotent witness to these egregious and blatant outrages or reach into our soul and find the courage to demand they cease and desist. And then go further when they do not.
