I am from Chicago although I do not live there anymore. Mayor Washington was a person who attempted to unite the city beyond skin color and remove the old Chicago political thuggery. Of course he was not perfect and had issues like everyone else. All you need to do is look at how the city reacted in mourning when he passed away that day before Thanksgiving. I have a feeling we will not see the same reaction with Mayor Daley whenever that day occurs.
Rahm WILL be mayor of Chicago, even if they have to break every leg in town!

Rahm Emanuel has to be one of the most despicable political personalities out there. He and Barry Soetoro used to hang together at Man’s Country when they were in Chicago. The ruling power structure, (you know the one that really runs our federal government like a marionette) had Rahm announce his departure about two months ago. And of course most of Barry’s cabinet members are CFR or members of other Round Table groups.
