the "abating" in the greece crisis will prob bump the euro this week and next given the pummeling its taken beginning to price in doom.
anybody have any thoughts on timeline for greece blowup ? are we waiting till June at this point ?
Greece will default, just later than anyone thinks. Their politics makes the US system look rational and I don't think the German people will be willing to adopt another dysfunctional nation as their dependent (after their experience with East Germany). The Germans know that the rest of the PIIGS are watching (and hoping they can suck the German teat also). Look for window dressing that keeps Greece looking "defused" until the debt bomb explodes when no one is looking or expecting it.
