THE KRAKEN

Alfred Lord Tennyson

(WilliamBanzai7)

Below the thunders of the fiat deep;

Far, far beneath in the abysmal economic sea,

His ancient, dreamless, uninvaded sleep

The Kraken sleepeth: faintest sunlights flee

About his shadowy market slides: above him swell

Huge sponges of millennial deficit height;

And far away into the sickly moral hazard light,

From many a wondrous grot and Illuminati cell

Unnumbered and enormous Banksta polypi

Winnow with giant arms the slumbering Greenback.

There hath he lain for ages and will lie

Battening upon obscene Keynesian worms in his sleep,

Until the printer fire shall heat the deep;

Then once by central banking morons to be seen,

In clouds of ink he shall rise and on the surface die.

If we die grasping for gold we feel life was exciting while it lasted. If we die retching from cold we feel cheated before and after...to the same extent, double whammied.

The Yen, and Japan, raising cash to pay for the reconstruction of the country, is already on the path of Yen appreciation and will be assisted in their efforts by the other central banks. By acting in a co-ordinated fashion they will begin to reverse the worldwide race to the bottom.

compound annual inflation rate, the appropriate term to measure this year over year inflation measurement? This level of inflation will make it difficult for people to properly value the products they buy relative to the products value in silver.. A value buying guide might be a useful tool going forward.

The Kraken will be released soon.  With no Perseus with Medusa head or Stygian witches to recommend another means of slaying the monster, what will the planet do?

It looks like our only hope is to blind the Kraken with the light of day using the most reflective metal in the cosmos.

Hell, among folks with graduate degrees, the most common explanation I get about "checks and balances" is that the executive branch cannot interfere with the judicial branch, which cannot interfere with the legislative branch, which cannot interfere with the executive branch, and so on.

This explanation always brings to mind the proverbial three monkeys.

So simple! Two shots and add a lot of water!

I'm waiting for a whole pack of cards dedicated like we had with the Kraki Iraqi.  We have a whole lot more than enough for a game of 52 card pickup!   Think, you are doing a service to the world.  If their faces become well known to the masses, more might go missing after making that wrong turn in Amurka, and end up as the foundation for new construction.  Jimmy Hoffa can be their martyr.

We’re so used to these images of non-U.S. perpetrators of evil (with ample reason, mind you), that the Al-Ponzi list is a wonderfully thought provoking process of bearding our leadership in their lairs (layers?) of lies. And to borrow from what the lady said (I think) to Bertrand Russell, its Krakens all the way down. Except when it isn’t. Meanwhile, thank you, WB7, for the courage of your expression. Re First Amendment, however, very distressing to read that

Fewer than half of American eighth graders knew the purpose of the Bill of Rights on the most recent national civics examination, and only one in 10 demonstrated acceptable knowledge of the checks and balances among the legislative, executive and judicial branches, according to test results released on Wednesday.

Bush as a terrorist. Great stuff WM. I understand that in a Muslim country the woman isn't allowed to touch the TV remote.

But I love that shot, I get the feeling OBL is just about to give those kids a duck and cover drill.

I felt compelled to do that after being treated to the idea of watching him watch himself on TV.

Banzai - shameless request. Can I paste the "Most Wanted" work to The Foreclosure Hamlet?

With credits and a "do not copy" request (demand). It's a volunteer site (no soliciting/advertisements permitted). Don't feel bad about saying "no". I would understand completely.

williambanzai7's picture

It is a good cause my friend. Feel free. Please link back to my blog site.

You got it my friend! Thank You! I'm surely not the first one to say your work is terrific! Thank You again!

I'm going to "Feature" it on the site after lunch period...it will put a smile on many faces.

Any copying I find will result in suspension. (You know you've really hit bottom when you get evicted from The Foreclosure Hamlet.)

I've never seen GWB look so convincingly intelligent! It takes a mullah to catch a mullah. But he was so bad at it then he subcontracted it to another in-sect leader...now the mullahs are running wild...they've got ants in their pants...and the Kraken breathes fire...as WS burns.

"Khalid Sheik Moharvard"

This one precipitated one of the loudest laughs since I have been reading ZH. The Al-Ponzi List: WB7, this is tops. Your work simply gets better -- and assuredly, there will be no dearth of material going forward, so long as this "dynasty" continues to sustain its calamitous, corrupt caliphate.

Cognitive Dissonance's picture

Banzai7 has repeatedly said he'll never run out of material so long as the insanity continues. We seem to be blessed with an endless supply of late.

My only worry is that the world suddenly discovers Banzai7 in mass, thus popping him onto the control system radar. Then the Hong Kong authorities might do the bidding of the Amerikan fascists and hang him by his thumbs. But Banzai7 assures me he has assembled a bevy of Geisha's ready to defend their master's honor and iPad. :>)
