The beauty of the strategy being employed is that everywhere, temperatures are rising/being fanned/facebooked etc. And they are rising just as summer comes in. These guys are airconditioner-soft, they'll lose it pretty fast.

I think they'll change from Dune bashing to regime bashing on a dime and a drop.

Getting a true Saudi patrician out in the street is more difficult than to see two elephants mating. It happens once a year according to the initiated. So these must be their cousins on permanent mission as doormen, taxi drivers, floor sweepers, latrine cleaners, pipe line cleaning pigs (the halal kind if its possible), or torch blowers in their refineries. This is the 'mexican' menace of the sacred kingdom, the 'el gaucho' from Yemen, from Pakistan, from Bengladesh, from Somalia, Ethiopia. I wonder if they now have enough police to tell a saudi plebian from a surrogate moslem slave. They all wear the same head dress and same beard. It is now the universal face of one cultured, one nutted, multi-faceted Saudi plebe race on explosive, exponential birth lift-off. All hail, the ruling class of those true Saudi patricians, three thousand princes and three million middle class citizens as they fly by in their black glazed glass windowed Mercedes Benz's.

First they protest about jobs and the cost of living, so the leadership offers money to make them go back to their homes.  Then, they realize that they actually don't want to be treated like children, but want rights and representation and they see the weakness of the leadership and believe they can force change.

We may see The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia become the Arabian Republic sooner than we imagine, but most likely a brutal civil war between the pro-reformers and the totally fucked up Wahhabists....

phallic, i have been reading up on what these men some times likes to do to each other. no really there is a thing called bestiality, did you know that. men do the dirty to animals. i just don't want to really visualize it, but maybe to camels as well. how did our species digress so much, wanting to do this act to animals. well i mean to different species of animals. i can't imagine what else goes on between some human beings, especially finding out about this latest with animals.

Just for the sake of being pedantic, one video is about a demonstration outside of the Rajhi mosque after Friday prayer, while the second is about a demonstration to protest the detention of someone named Sheikh Tawfeeq.

Protests after Friday prayers are not uncommon, but the target is never the government, nor any action of the government.  Today the target was the government.

Islam = Sheeple-People. The religion is a sham foisted upon the uninformed and the illiterate! Human beings, wake up to the reality that your “God” or “Allah” is nothing more than the figment of someone else’s imagination.

Whenever I read some thing like this I feel sorry for people who loudly declare them self ignorant. How many people are intellectually destroyed by mass media misinformation? Muslim had a working constitution 1500 years ago giving equal rights to minorities and women. They had Gold as a standard and interest free monitory system. They were very advanced in medicine, math algebra and chemistry. This is the base for the current achievements we have today. Talking about Islamic achievements in politics and social front is useless to pin heads. Quite garbage has spilled over from yahoo in ZH.  People are brain washed and will be the last to wake up. Calling a population of 2,000,000,000 people ignorant and terrorist worked to fool 300 million for ten years but I saw the anger in the Egyptian’s eyes. Not a single American flag was Burned. Not a single anti Israel slogan. Not a single word about Palestine. It looks to me time for the back fire. All fucken Jaws will be gone by then and WE will be left to clean their shit.

Haven't you heard? The Muslims are coming to outlaw Christianity and make you read the Koran! They're gonna make you convert to Islam and cut off your hands and make your wife wear a Burkha because, man, like, I heard that's what they're going to do! And like, the Koran says in every sentence that you have to kill every single person you see because like, well I didn't read it, but like I heard that that's what happened!

I have not heard anything like this because I don't live with idiots. I read that Muslims and Christians lived together in Spain (when Spain was a super power) for 600 years until Jews came and introduced charging interest on loans, rob their wealth and ran away as they did 79 times in the history.

It is probably quite similar to protests organized by liberal activists, and union activists. It works like this.

Protest Organizer: Excuse me sir. Do you have a job?

Citizen: No.

Organizer: Will you join a group of people for a protest if I give you a day's worth of tobacco?

Citizen: Yes, of course. What do I have to do?

Organizer: Just hold this sign, and shout "Allah Akbar".

Citizen: OK.

Organizer: Do you want to know what this protest is about and what we hope to accomplish?

Citizen: Who cares? Can I have some of the tobacco now?

Again,  Read our diary ahead of time.

Short funny diary of what happens if SA Falls.

Short snippet (hit link and read the rest)

Sixty Days, Next Year

Chip Haynes

June 14
It all started (for me) with just a small item on an Internet news page, "Trouble in the Kingdom". I thought they were talking about Disney World (the Magic Kingdom) so I clicked on it. Turns out they were talking about "the repercussions of curtailed social services in Saudi Arabia". (Insert a big yawning noise here.) So their kids don't get free day care? Big whoop. I scanned the article for any mention of M. Mouse and then went on with my life. My mistake. No biggie. Really.

June 15
Yesterday's headlines are still today's news? I guess those folks in the sand are really upset about something--it was in all the papers today. Sounds like the Saudi government is in for a tough time trying to rein in a runaway budget--and the locals don't like it one bit. Now their capital (Riyadh?) is a mess with people getting ugly in the streets. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no more subsidized housing. Deal with it, people. Get a job.

June 16
I saw the news today, oh boy. Three Saudi cities are up in flames, people with big guns are going nuts, and everyone that can find a plane is leaving that country in one big hurry. It's like Saigon in a sand box. (Not that I actually remember Saigon.) Local news guys are talking about what it means to us--and our oil. Maybe I'd better go fill up the car before everyone else does. I hate being stuck in long lines.

June 17
Almost forgot to top off my tank. Would have forgot completely if I hadn't heard the guy talking about it on the radio on the drive home from work. The gas station was busy, but not bad. Of course they'd already raised their prices. The creeps. Some people will try to make a buck off of anything. The radio guy said something about us sending in the Marines. Sure. Why not? How many countries can we invade at once?

It's hard to see Greenspan age but he's still way ahead of me. We both remember the event of Feb 24th, 2006 when an attack on a Saudi Oil refinery was reported.

Even back then, in the days before the hopium frenzy,  the effect it had on the markets was severe.

Any report of an attack in this environment, even by a sole inept shoe bomber with his underwear already on fire, would be enough to really cause the markets to roil.

Thank God terrorist leaders seem to be on the payroll that provides out-of-network health care coverage with unlimited dialysis treatment.

The critical point that Sunnis are in the vast minority in the bulk of the oil producing meaty center of the world, but represent the near exclusive ruling class, while Shiites comprise the vast majority of the populace of the ME, is the most important point not yet spoken of.

If this turns into a full-fledged Sunni vs. Shiite 'issue,' at that point all bets are off.

That's not accurate.  Shiites make up a majority of the population in certain countries, but they are a minority of Muslims overall.  Iran (95%), Iraq (60%), and Bahrain (70%) are the only places where Shiiites are a majority of the population.  They are a large majority in Lebanon.  In Saudi Arabia and Egypt they are a very small minority (5%-ish).

They are a very neat and tidy insurrection. I like the idea.  The white will contrast boldly in a sea of red.

I'd plan to wear a tux when we descend on Washington. But that is not going to happen.

Apparently American men are OK with handing over their balls, along with their money, to the government and the Banks.
