Register of Deeds Jeff Thigpen to Meet President Obama and top Administration Officials in Washington, D.C.

Greensboro,
NC-Guilford County Register of Deeds Jeff Thigpen announced today that
he will travel to Washington, D.C. to join President Barack Obama and
members of his administration at a White House reception honoring Young
Elected Officials on this Friday, June 17th.

"I'm truly
honored to be invited by the President and it will be one of the
highlights of my career as a public servant", said Register of Deeds
Thigpen. "On the other hand, I'm carrying the weight I what I see in the
economy and it's challenging. People are hurting as the housing
industry has been wounded by a culture of quick money that led to the
crash in our economy.  We've got to return to fundamentals that help
working people get back on their feet coupled with an unshakeable
commitment to transparency and fair dealing in our financial services
industry."

Returning to fundamentals are important to
Thigpen because he recently found 4500 potentially fraudulent land
record documents in the Guilford County Register of Deeds as a result of
an internal investigation.  The legal documents were submitted by a
company named Doc X, owned by Lender Processing Services which
contracted with major banks Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and the
Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems (MERS) among others.  They were
signed by a number of "robo-signers" including the name Linda Green
representing a number of banks and mortgage companies that had between
four and fifteen different signature variations and acknowledged before
notaries as authentic. Each of those companies and banks mentioned are
now under investigation.

Register Thigpen initiated his
investigation after former Doc X employees admitted the company's
business practices on national television during a CBS 60 Minutes
segment on the mortgage paperwork mess.  Thigpen sent his own findings
to federal regulator agencies and the 50 State Attorneys' General
Investigation into Foreclosure Fraud in May.

Prior to the
reception, Thigpen will be attending a special policy briefing with
senior White House and Administration officials on topics including
housing, immigration reform, innovation, energy, and job creation.

Jeff Thigpen, 40, was elected to the Guilford County Board of Commissioners at age 27 and is author of the upcoming book, Young Politics profiling young elected leaders 35 and under committed to progressive values.  Young Politics will be published by Polar Bear and Company in Maine and released later this year.

That is like Obama Bin Lyin' giving out the Whistle Blower of the Year Award (Since he is viciously prosecuting whistleblowers like the fascist douche he is)... or

  1. Bubba Clinton giving out a marriage fidelity award...
  2. Bush giving out Human Rights Geneva Convention award...
  3. Obama Bin Lyin' giving out a Transparency in Government award...

The Puppet, Timmay & Holder
This Wall Street Puppet-in-Chief, his worthless Treasury chief Timmay the Tool and his nonexistent DOJ head "Empty Suit" Holder have not only done nothing to stem the foreclosure frauds...

They have done everything in their power to ignore, not regulate, and facilitate the fraudclosure actions of the TBTF Wall Street looting class...

Legitimizing Hypocrisy
Thigpen should refuse and say "I would show up to watch if they were giving out a Robo-signer of the year award..."

This "robo signing" expression the media labeled this fraud with is complete bullshit.  It wasn't robo signing, it was total disregard for several hundred years of land title law going back to the Old World.  Everyone who has a loan on property has the right to know who loaned them the money, or the trust deed on the property isn't valid...that's it and that's that.  Having a loan servicer take your money and promise you it will get into the right hands doesn't cut it.  If some douche bag showed up at your door, that wasn't mentioned on your promissory note to take your money under the premise they'd pass it on to the right people, you'd tell them to fuck off...so tell your servicer to fuck off by nullifying your trust deed in your state.  MERS cannot act as the nominee and beneficiary..by their own admission under oath in a deposition, they have no interest in property, deeds or notes....so tell tell me how the fuck they can be the beneficiary to the majority of the properties in America?  MERS is going down in flames like every ponzi scheme does.  People are finally catching on and nullifying their trust deeds with state judges.  Federal judges cannot tell state judges what to do with property in their states.

Seconds to you sir! But let's not stop with fucking over property law. Remember the Uniform Commercial Code has to be ignored so that the secondary market in negotiable instruments is destroyed, then of course there are some securities law problems, some significant tax evasion, and fraud to avoid paying recording fees in very U.S. county, Oh, and let's not forget that the bankster driving you into foreclosure by tortious conduct claims absolute immunity in litigation as a holder in due course. Then they grind the small fry bwtween the wheels of delay and obfuscation. Still waiting for the judge's to finally get it...slow in coming but signs of optimism.

My state judge certainly got it.  I nullified my trust deed and sold the property last year.  They haven't produced a note yet and I'm certain they never will, because MERS is a ponzi so banks could sell bundled mortgages to multiple investors.  My attorney has done many more since then.  This is a zero sum game...their gain is our loss.  People need to grow a sack, hire a competent attorney and fight back.

If this guy was sincere, he would tell the president that he is too busy to go play golf and that he has actual work to do...  he would then initiate court proceedings to declare all of the discovered robosigned documents as frauds upon the county/state and invalidate them...  and send a bill for the clean-up to the defendants.

It may be possible for the AG to block some action by the county registrar, but I doubt it...  the county has been granted the right to act as gatekeeper for land records and I can't fathom that the AG can sign away any potential causes of action...  (obviously the state can cut funding to the county, but that's another story).

This guy needs to quit fucking about and go to work.  All hat and no cattle.

The drawing showing the paper aviator was previously identified as being robo-signer Jeffrey Stephans.  Apparently Stephans also signs for Linda Green.

But they could have him sign for Thigpen in a pinch, you know.

So it's really all the same thing. Paper planes, electronic bits, databases ... all the same thing.

North Carolina enjoys excellent notary policy and foreclosure procedures.  No robo-signed mortgage documents have been generated in the state.  There are no robo-signed promissory notes on file.  This is political grandstanding.

Or anywhere else for that matter.  Don't fly in airplanes with GE engines, don't travel in a Chrysler vehicle, don't eat anything that hasn't been boiled, fried, and then microwaved (by you personally) first!

On second thought, why don't you just stay home, do your job, and report back regularly.  We'll send someone to your house to check on you every other day.

I'm sure Jeff's a bright boy, and is clearly in awe of being stroked by the machine, but to think that LPS is going to incur any wrath for 4500 alleged documents?? Having one of Florida's best (read: grubbiest) on the team was not an accident of nature.

Let Jeff enjoy his coffee and take some photo's to hang on the wall. Don't put them hanging in the background in view of your webcam.

I doubt this is the hell raiser many of us are looking for.  Of course I am still waiting for Rep. Ron Paul (TX) and Sen. Rand Paul (KY) to show up at Ft. Knox (KY) demanding that the gold depository vaults there be opened for inspection with a team of assayers.

Of course he isn't...  why the fuck would he get called to the white house if it wasn't to get: (a) woodshedded; or (b) bribed w/ some jackoff position that pays multiples of his current salary with better benefits?  Just like this assclown is making a big scene to further his career...  this isn't rocket surgery.
