I was kind of enjoying whupping up on CNBC for the last few years. I think I'd prefer it if they went more slanted instead of more objective, at least at this point in our hilarious national degradation.

Reputation for poor customer satisfaction
There have been many reported incidents with individual customers describing less than satisfying interactions with Comcast's customer services. These include situations with a technician falling asleep on the job,[44] customers having to spend hours on the phone to fix simple problems, and sending a bill addressed to "Bitch Dog" to a customer who had recently complained about her service.[45] On October 15, 2007, a 75-year old Comcast customer named Mona Shaw entered her local Comcast offices with a hammer and destroyed some office equipment before being arrested and fined for damages. Mrs. Shaw was angry and frustrated due to a previous encounter with Comcast customer service in which she and her husband wanted to speak with the manager and were forced to wait outside the offices for two hours before being informed that the manager had already gone home.[46][47] Comcast's customer service quality has prompted several individuals to create blogs and websites dedicated to informing the public of Comcast's service, including one run by media columnist Bob Garfield.[48]
In 2004 and 2007, the American Customer Satisfaction Index survey found that Comcast had the worst customer satisfaction rating of any company or government agency in the country, including the Internal Revenue Service.[49] Comcast's Customer Service Rating by the ACSI surveys indicate that the company's customer service has not improved since the surveys began in 2001. Analysis of the surveys states that "Comcast is one of the lowest scoring companies in ACSI. As its customer satisfaction eroded by 7% over the past year, revenue increased by 12%." The ACSI analysis also addresses this contradiction, stating that "Such pricing power usually comes with some level of monopoly protection and most cable companies have little competition at the local level. This also means that a cable company can do well financially even though its customers are not particularly satisfied."[50][51]
If they go mind control via cable TV you can bet you LAST dollar that Comcast will do it. They are THAT EVIL.

CNBC talking heads will soon become self-aware that their cheerleading of the stock market over the past few months will end up harming their careers. The same careers they thought they were protecting with their unbridled optimism of the markets. Word to CNBC talking heads: Be principled. This works out best in the long run.

Speaking with Comcast's customer service reps they can tell you what televisions you have on in your home and control the cable box remotely. What else can they do or info can they gather on you?
If the mainstreet media is as crooked as we all know they are than why should we expect unbiased reporting? The powers that be would only allow a sale that would keep their powers in place or improve them.

I've gotta take the over on the Beaker contract. GE is a bloated pig and comcast is competely inept. I figure 2 years will pass before the "synergies" come to pass and comcast even figures out CNBC is a joke. I'd say another year before they figure out how to fix it. Figure 6months for pink slip notification. all in all 3.5 years before Beaker gets cut....

How can comcast buy GE's NBC when they are rumored to be buying Dish Networks? Isn't the company already levered to the max? How are they going to be buying two companies and adding to their debt loads.

Keep a close eye on your monthly statements and you'll see how they are going to pay for it. Soon, you'll have to buy the Disney Channel to recieve college football on Saturdays. If you want the Speed channel, you have to also package in Home Shopping Network and all the spanish language shows.

Objective? I doubt it. Combining will most likely make the dying horse jump up for awhile, but ultimately it will die someday. All the corporate MSM outlets are a dying breed. Eventually, they'll all end up at the "soap" factory.
CNBC in its current form should be liquidated; sweep out all the cock roach personnel and sell the assets to a private company that wants to be in the financial news business. The quality folks will easily find jobs whilst the others can collect unemployment with all the other folks. Their brand is tainted, their style of news is corrupt. Good riddance...
