Saudi Police Open Fire At Protest Rally
AP reports that the Saudi police open fire at protesters in Qatif after government warns demonstrators it will not tolerate protests. In other words, the shootings will continue until morale is restored. Look for crude to go antigravitational here.
And whoosh:
From AP:
Saudi police have opened fire at a rally in the kingdom's east in an apparent escalation of efforts to stop planned protests.
Government
officials have warned they will take strong action if activists take to
the streets after increasing calls for large protests around the
oil-rich kingdom to press for democratic reforms.
A
witness in the eastern city of Qatif says gunfire and stun grenades
were fired at several hundred protesters marching in the city streets
Thursday. The witness, speaking on condition of anonymity because he
feared government reprisal, said police in the area opened fire. The
witness saw at least one protester injured.

Long USO Short QQQQ rest is physical PMs & cash, baby!!!! (And Guns/Ammo, And all that
good stufffff)!
No MSM coverage of allegations Yemen fired nerve gas at protestors.
http://www.smh.com.au/world/nerve-gas-used-doctors-claim-20110310-1bptc....
Why don't they do like the greeks do and just keep the guns out of it......good grief........
House of Saud = House of Mud...thats right Audrey, when they ran out of Saud, they used mud
It is interesting that none of the neocons from the G.W. Bush era have come out of their caves to take credit for this "outbreak of democracy" in the Middle East. Maybe they realize this will likely turn out real bad for all of us.
As harsh as this sounds, if it's the Shias protesting and getting shot, I wouldn't expect much general outrage from the majority Sunni population.
Day of Rage turning to Day of Out-Rage
I guess more money thrown at them isn't going to do it. It's fine, the US will just shuffle a few aircraft carriers around and all will return to normal.
Where is the AL Jazerra link????
Fuck you douche. AJ is about to triumph over your American jew networks. Suck it up bitch.
Rupert Murdoch is Jewish? WOW! Did he hide that well! It must be easy on your brain to blame a race.
I perfer to blame the Smurfs and the people from what ever country Cockney is spoken in.
Seems like you're an expert in Cockney cuming from the mouth.
It's going to suck being 'the chosen' when everyone catches on to the scam.
Yes, his mother was a Jew.

Bet it was a Google employee.
Wait until tomorrow!
These protests are not going to end. Either
those governments start to use WMDs against
its own population and kill them all or the
rebels kill their leaders.
This is becoming a full blown middle east civil
war as a preamble of the next World War III.
And the problem with all of this, is that there is
no real solution, 'cause this people
are not fighting to get a democracy, they are
fighting because the are hungry and
unemployed.
If the industrilized countries cant fight back
unemployment and inflation, what can you
expect from Egypt, Lybia, Tunisia, Yemen and
Saudi Arabia?
This is real my friends, as someboy says, this is
an "End Game".
Just watch the lately comments from Sarkozy,
negotiating with Libyan rebels or the silence
coming from the White House, waiting to
see which part is getting control in Libya,
before they really support one of them.
I'd place money on Iran (shia's) winning this reagional civil war.
The kingdom has been saving up an army for this day; it's called the National Guard, it's made up of Sunni bedouins (no problem shooting townsmen or Shia). For most of his life, King Abdullah has been commander of this National Guard. This is a unique circumstance that will quickly negate protests in KSA. Headcount is north of 50,000. If the protestors seize and hold cities, however, it becomes a different story as these fellows are not going to do house-to-house combat.
If the Army turns, the National Guard will fight the Army.
arab soldiers really suck tho
except for hezbollah. they are a whole other animal.
Their "Army" has been "in training" by our military and police forces for years. With the exception of a small group of a well trained few, most would only hit what they were aiming at by sheer luck.
In any event, we'll find out what's going to happen by the time we all get into the office tomorrow. Since there's no reports of the Royal families leaving the country, my bet is nothing, with the full backing of The United States.
/sigh Double post
Even if the Saudis are lying about their oil reserves, don't expect any help whatsoever from Obama or Hillary.
Fast review:
We're in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen. Now, Libya as well. Despite all the nice Obama soundbites about "an improving economy" and "we're withdrawing", all of that's a lie. If you disagree, (a) check the U6 unemployment rate. (b)how long does it take to train foreign military and cops? Can you imagine if it took 8 years to train you in your job?
Just like the Chinese, Obama's afraid of pissing off the Saudis. If the Saudis cut the oil production, what other OPEC nation will replace that? Also, it's a matter of perception and spin. We're not talking about just any oil producer. We're talking about "Saudi Arabia". If Obama tries to send in arms or troops, how will he get this past the neocons? Peter King just started his racist anti-Muslim "hearings". Why then Mr. President would you send arms and other aid to "dangerous Muslims". Forget the fact that they send you much of your oil. Why would you do that?
Being the centrist that he is, Obama won't say anything about King's hearings. He should, but he won't because that's not "bi-partisan". He also won't interfere in Saudi Arabia. No matter how many people get killed.
The cat is out of the box.
"Another cat-box country getting messy"
So wheres Hillary Clingon's and MooBarac Obama flapping their shit covered lips about freecom of speech and the right to assembly.
Dictators are O.K in some countries but not others in the USA administrations eyes.
GO...SAUDI's ..GO.....
Bust and burn some thrones...!!!!
"In other words, the shootings will continue until morale is restored"
Pure poetry reaching the heart
stabbed with a silver pole
30 years ago the saying went: My son drove a camel, I drive a Mercedes; my Son drives a jet Aeroplane, and my Grandson will drive a camel.
The House of Saud numbers in the thousands, all allowed to dress in white and all rich beyond the concept of folk as ourselves. Bandar Bush knows - 100 million dollars an hour was the profit back then - when he was a welcome 'member' of the Royal Family.
Now that the thousands of 'Princes' and various vasals have spent (in their own mind) the last largess granted by the Highness person, whoever he may actually be ... money for all will again run short and there may not be enough oil left to bluff with - word will get out quickly when actual production figures in BPD show up. What's the current seawater cut ?? 60% or more? ... When a field goes, it's apt to be real quick, and hard to cover up.
More to the point, there is no 'Revolution' coming in SA - it will be "Class Warfare", with lots of white-robed targets. And it will be sudden, perhaps in reaction to a larger action with many, many more machine-gunned dark robes spilling blood into the streets beyond reason. In the arab mind, they are within their rights to kill all they choose. Damn the infidel that objects - it is their r i g h t.
Arab theocracy, and politics, are beyond the ken of most - a legacy of incredible disregard for individual life with liberty reserved for the ruling class. And what a ride the class has had over the last 50 years. Sheik Yerbuti and all that. And most all the money distributed to the royal princes has been spent. It's gone, or in a bank in England, or the US - but it is out of reach of the great mass of the population of the Sheikdom. In the main, the non-family population is ill-fed, ill-clothed, ill-housed, and totally unprotected, especially women who are just above animals. Well, except for a favorite camel.
And just how many of the 911 hijackers were from Iraq ??? Zero Saudi 'citizens' ?? Most all as I recall. Not a Prince among them.
Maybe it's time to hit the remote-destruct buttons on the Saudi Air Farce strike eagles.
Staying tuned, popcorn and brandy at the ready - looks like a weekend show coming up.
I hope you don't really think Arabs had anything to do with 9/11.
No 19 or 19 million could get NORAD to stand down, or put the other aspects in place, like the NANO-Thermate, no capabilities.
I would be beyond pissed if my race were accused of 9/11 and we were innocent. Do some homework.
Don't even start telling them that there were multiple war games that morning and fake blips on the radar......
Oil drops and Saudi officials open fire?
Which bank is advising them?
Hmm... to buy or not to buy this dip in oil funds.
going to hell, in a hand basket. when the american starts to think, and react, b o o m we get shot and fired upon, as well. but if you have nothing, you have nothing to lose. let the games begin†
love the phrase going to hell in a handbasket. Need to look it up

Gold & guns, bitchez ... it's on!
Bougth more sprotts silver, physical coin and OObuck, yesterday. Even with a migrane headache. Maybe I sensed something.
And holding pat on these oil calls. Maybe if they pay off enuff, then I can afford some gold or maybe food. Not sure which.
..how many virgins again do these lucky bastards get to bang once they're on the other side? Is it just moslems banging virgins with arabs observing? Or the other way around? I forget. Do they pay these virgins with dollaros, habaneros or dinneros? That's what I want to know.
Jokes on them. The 72 virgins are all those mean assed nuns that smack the crap out of you with yard sticks.
If the people ever get the upper hand there are going to be bits of saud all over zee place.
oil is gonna sky rocket ....
to hydro carbon heaven
My guess is the firing was done by Iranian agents.
We are in the days of Lent, so why are these Muslims being so disrepectful to the Pope on the Holy See....?
Maybe the reason the Administration is dragging their feet on Lybia is they are holding the resources to bail out the House of Saud.
Can't wait to see what the state department doesn't say about this!
And this is why we are not in Libya..
If we went to Lybia to help...
How come we arent helping Freedom Happen in Saudi Arabia? Thats what the question would be.. so after tomorrow we will see how many die, un-armed under the ever watchful.. yet approving eye of the U.S. Intelligence Services..
We want everyone to be free, just not when it comes to our oil supply, what was said by the 3.5 Trillion Dollar man... http://www.zerohedge.com/article/shadow-king-wall-street-markets-love-totalitarian-markets
Its just business people, move along.. nothing but a potential massacre happening here.. there will be no help for the people of Saudi Arabia.
Tired of high gasoline prices?
CNG kits on EBay for $500, plus tank & 7 hours labor:
http://compare.ebay.com/like/380064150615?ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&va...
Perfectly legal for US law & emissions, apparently.
I like that Joe. Problem Is....
Where do I get the CNG? The f*ing petro stations don't serve it up here in the AmeriKa like they do in China.
The home based compression systems are $$ very costly.
http://www.cngstations.com/
Only need a home compressor if the station is too far.
CNG cars could kill the petrodollar.
