Second Hindenburg Omen Confirmation In As Many Days, Third H.O. Event In One Week
Longs may be forgiven if they are sweating their long positions over the weekend: not only did we just have a second, and far more solid Hindenburg Omen confirmation today, with 82 new highs, and 94 new lows, but the Saturday is the day when Iran launches its nuclear reactor, and everyone will be very jumpy regarding any piece of news out of the middle east. As for the H.O., the more validations we receive, the greater the confusion in the market, and the greater the possibility for a melt down (or up, as the case may be now that the market is unlike what it has ever been in the past). Furthermore, with implied correlation at record levels (JCJ at around 78), any potential crash will be like never before, as virtually all stocks now go up or down as one, more so than ever before. And should the HFT STOP command take place, the future should be very interesting indeed (at least for the primary dealers, and the Atari consoles which are unable to VWAP dump their holdings in the nano second before stuff goes bidless).

They've mastered the art of creating "reality" out of hot air.
There is no mosque being built on so-called Ground Zero.
45 Park Place is only loosely in the neighborhood of the World Trade Center.
It's not a mosque. It's not a massive structure dominating Ground Zero. It's an small existing building that has sat empty since September 11, 2001. The plans call for it to be converted to a community center.
But that kind of basic factual information have never interfered with the US news media's hate mongering.

This is an Islamic "education" center. There will be Islamic education and worship going on there regardles. Whether one calls it a "mosque" is pure semantics.

In all religions there are followers who literally interprete the writings found in their historic books.
It appears to me that while progressives readily decry literal Christians, they seem to overlook the possibility that there exist literal Muslims as well and that their "book" contains passages that encourage war, death and terror.

I won't bother to look up the quotations because we're all familiar with them, but in the Old Testament, God told the Jews to kill all the Canaanites (?) and take their land because God liked the Jews best.

Correct. What the New Testament doesn't make clear, though, is whether Jesus was saying Christians would be holding the sword or at the pointy end. Certainly, in his own time, they were much more at the pointy end.

If there was a real economic desire for a gay Muslim club in Manhattan I would heartily approve. But one would expect that such a club would be operated by either gay Muslims or someone who is gay Muslim friendly. To answer your question, I just returned from Copenhagen (with my wife). We stayed with friends that live there and the Muslim/Gay issue was a hot topic. The anti-gay sentiment in the Muslim community has culminated into physical attacks and threats against the gay community. It's upside down world. Gays now have to question the routes of Gay Pride parades thru Muslim neighborhoods as not to be perceived as anti-Muslim and to avoid voilence.
So if the guy opening the NYC gay bar will turn this into an actual establishment and not just a no content flashing neon light fuck you sign across the street from the mosque ....then I'll have no problem throwing a few dollars in. Even if it winds up being a shell of an establishment merely there to make a point...we're supposed to be a tolerant country and if the Muslims have a problem with it...can't we all just get along? With that said so far I have not seen anyone on their end actually saying anything about it only ass-clowns like us feel the need to make war over it.

Greg Gutfield from Fox News’ Red Eye announced today via his blog that he is actively speaking to investors and plans on opening a gay bar next to the controversial mosque being built near Ground Zero in New York. To make matters worse (better?) the bar will be specifically designed to cater to homosexuals of the Islamic faith. God, this is going to be an exciting block.

As an American, I believe they have every right to build the mosque – after all, if they buy the land and they follow the law – who can stop them?

The reason we even have a Bill of Rights in America is because the people and the states that were delegating/entrusting to a central government such immense power knew it (the federal government) could not be trusted to use it wisely forever, if ever.
They, the people of the various states, would not have joined if the Bill of Rights were not attached to the founding documents. That is how strongly they felt about it.

One of the lies that this Imam speaks is that this mosque is being built on top of the rubble to help in the healing process between one religion & many cultures. You know it is a lie because logically they are forcing themselves into a place the majority of the people have decided is not appropriate.

The cold hard facts are, there were no Baptists, Catholics, Jews or Episcopalians at the controls of those planes who slaughtered innocent civilians that morning.

Obviously some victims were chosen, completely at random, to die immediately by having their throats slit, others on impact by the planes. Those Islamists and their apologists who argue for "religious toleration" are arrogantly dishonest. They ignore the fact that more than 100 mosques already exist in New York City. Meanwhile, there are no churches or synagogues in all of Saudi Arabia. In fact no Christian or Jew can even enter Mecca. And they lecture us about tolerance.
If the people behind the Cordoba House were serious about religious toleration, they would be imploring the Saudis, as fellow Muslims, to immediately open up Mecca to all and immediately announce their intention to allow non-Muslim houses of worship in the Kingdom. They should be asked by the news media if they would be willing to lead such a campaign.
We have not been able to rebuild the World Trade Center in nine years. Now we are being told a 13 story, $100 million megamosque will be built within a year overlooking the site of the most devastating surprise attack in American history.
Finally where is the money coming from? The people behind the Cordoba House refuse to reveal all their funding sources. America is experiencing an Islamist cultural-political offensive designed to undermine and destroy our civilization. Sadly, too many of our elites are the willing apologists for those who would destroy them if they could.
No mosque.
No self deception.
No surrender.
The time to take a stand is now - at this site on this issue.

Any Jewish person has a right to claim Israeli citizenship, but Palestinian refugees are not granted the right to return to their homes.
If you follow Newt's line of reasoning then it is hypocritical for any Jewish person to claim American citizenship if they do not call on Israel to recognize the Palestinian right of return.

I think that is right. Obama is resigned to Iran having nuclear weapons, as he is not interested in the collateral impact of forcing a showdown. I was watching the SPX futures on Futures.com about that time last night in Oz & I swear the daily chart showed a candle with a tail touching below 100. It was surreal & I even forced my non interested wife to confirm what I was looking at. I lost view of the candle when I tried to switch the chart to a smaller time frame. Bizarre or a sign of things to come.

Mitch, on my screen about that time the SPX500 had touched below 100. We are currently trading around 1070 on the SPX500. This would imply that the flash crash visible to me & a reluctant wife wiped nearly 1000pts off. It was obviously some sort of error but was clearly visible at that time.
Without being too melodramatic, he was saying that for the briefest of moments, the futures fell into the abyss and the world ended (somewhat)..........and then recovered. I must agree that since the May Flash Crash I've been watching futures while writing or whatever during the evening and there are some strange goings on.

We have a severe open wound that's seriously infected. We have been doing everything we can to avoid dealing with it and now we are in constant pain, we're feverish and the wound is beginning to smell bad. We are coming to the realization that either we do something or the wound will do something to us. Either way, the coming pain will be severe but then it will end and we will be free from the daily dread and fear we've been carrying for as long as we have been wounded.
Liberation is coming.
