Senator Bernie Sanders: America Is Now A Banana Republic
Some emotional words from Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders over the increasing social inequality in America, which he now defines as indicative of America's transition to a banana republic: "Many of the nation's billionaires are on the war path. They want more, more, more. Their greed has no end, and apparently there is very little concern for our country or for the people of this country if it gets in the way of the accumulation of more and more wealth, and more and more power. Today as the middle class collapses, the top 1% earns 23.5% of all income, more than the bottom 50%. Today, if you can believe it, the top 1/10th of 1% earns about 12 cents of every dollar in America... It is very clear that the people on top are doing extraordinarily well as the poverty is decreasing... Today the crooks on Wall Street, the people whose illegal, reckless actions have resulted in the millions of Americans losing their jobs, their savings, after we bailed them out, the CEOs are making more money than before the bailout. The US now has by far the most unequal distribution of income and wealth of any major country on earth." Not surprisingly, Sanders is not too happy about the proposed tax cut for the richest.

Sanders is such a complicit bitch to his masters. He goes off on these rants every so often. I think he is having some good boy sex or something.
Either way, he's a F'n idiot and not to be trusted. And like all politician, he spews crap from the wrong piehole.
@ dlmaniac
Alfred Hitchcock loved people like you, using your hard core slefishness as a means to a plot that turns on poetic jusice.
There you are screaming that the poor are greedy, selfish asking for more and more..and should be left to fend for themselves. Alfred then shows the life of these people. The financial crisis has taken away their jobs, they have a few kids, a home loan they cannot afford, they are thrown onto the streets, kids get sick, hard to find food.
You are successful in your lobbying, the politicians cut benefits to the new poor unemployed...they no longer can get health care, adequate food..etc.
And the plot turns, these people become desperate out of absolute neccessity, they become angry at the system that now treats them like leppers....then one night, looking for food and money...they break into you home. There they find you and your wife and kids asleep in your beds.....there an act of terrible poetic justice ensues...and just payment comes to you, but your wife and your kids also end up paying for your extreme selfishness.
Every tax loophole, subsidy, credit, investment, surcharge, fee or increase is another string used to yank us where the social engineers want us to go. It’s not the distribution of income or wealth per se that is the problem. The problem is that there is not a free market for anything. We give the crooks we elect to “lead” our country virtually free rein with our money to impact every area of our lives. We even give them the ability to buy off groups of us with our own money to oppose others in support of their plans for harnessing the golden goose. Socialism won’t solve this. There is no way to make the present system more “fair” other than by getting the “leaders” the hell out of so many aspects of our lives.
So, where are we??
The banksters have flown the planes into the buildings and smoke is billowing. We are now waiting for the banksters to pull it.
Financial meltdown is an inside job!
Yo, FUCK Sanders, that backstabbibg prick. He gutted the Senate version od the Paul/Grayson amendment for a complete GAO audit of the Fed in the "financial reform" Bill, which HE wrote. He has ZERO credibility. "Flip-Flopper", doesn't even come close to describing this douchebag.
i think what mr. sanders is saying is
end the fed. treasury notes!
Said Sanders: "I could have predicted
How the wealthy their way have inflicted,
Since the votes on the Right
They've locked up airtight,
And those on the Left are conflicted."
