I'm sure it was a good speech but after a few minutes I think I would rather be waterboarded.

basically sums up how i feel every time a politician makes a speech these days.
Kudos to his Chief of Staff--he probably would have had a better delivery than a 70+ year old,former life long Senate Staff "insider".

That's probably true but HFT is what is proping it up now and what caused the horrible oil prices that strained the economy to the breaking point before the crash.
no one gives a hoot what this guy says. he is filling in for biden and has no plans to run again.
CSPAN should display a ticker tape of each politician's voting record whenever they speak on camera... perhaps hi-lighting exactly which bills they introduced, co-sponsored, or voted for which helped screw us all over, contradicting whatever point they happen to be making in front of the camera.

Well at least he said it. Yes, the written comment was better but at least is was said. Kudos to the old fart. It's just the beginning IMO..and I would not rather be waterboarded than listening to him. If you think there is no voice that supports your opinions on this subject, then stop whining. Nothing will cure your ills.
