My take on views expressed by Jim Rogers at a BBN interview on Mar. 18 about the recent currency and trade confrontation between the US and China, the Canadian loonie and the U.S. bond market.
Phinance's phavorite political prisoner, Martin Armstrong, cautions that "the EU is in dire position", on the precipice of shattering. Since "debts will never be paid and interest expenditures are the greatest transfer of wealth in history ... Western society is falling apart ... If we do not act, civil unrest will explode. The current choice is DEFAULT or HIGHER TAXES & CIVIL UNREST ... Someone has to step forward to save us or we may be doomed. It's time to wake up for this is the future of our children and their children at stake. "
They have set at defiance the rule of law and the rights of the common people. They prosper only in proportion that they infiltrate and corrupt the supervisors and judges. Best of all they have penetrated the cabal which issues the currency and have abandoned any restraining ties to any physical backing.
The best business plan is state complying theft. There is no product or service, no structure, little need for investment except in armament, necessary.
Strip the vanquished because you can--and gain the virtue of their thrift and hard labour without having those qualities yourself. No longer any need to produce, JUST TAKE!
When Jesse Jackson ran for president in 1988 he spoke about "economic violence" against the poor and middle class. I thought he was nuts. But now it's plain for all to see.
Blankfein as the understudy. Putin comes from a long line of hard-line corrupted, vicious, intriguing predators who killed, maimed, dispossessed their people without a pang of conscience.
But Blankfein is a fast study, with a huge cadre of hungry jackals spoiling to tear apart the "happy cows" of this land. Watch them devour Lady Liberty in a New York second.
The resemblance is in the face, but then again all of us guys who shave our heads tend to look somewhat alike.
The real test is if you take off their shirts.... Putin's no joke, in a celebrity deathmatch of Obama vs. Putin, I would be cheering USA with a lot of hope and little conviction.
What happened to the days when the leaders of a nation would settle the war with one on one combat? *sigh* Who's to say we're more civilized? Our leaders would never think of shedding their own blood to save the people. They shed the blood of their servants like chattle to the butcherhouse.

Who has done a better job of wielding the sword and shield to protect and enhance the institutions they lead? To that question the answer is clearly the Lord Blankfein. After all, Lloyd could care less if Vlad works him for Kopeck or two since Lloyd already has Vlad by the short hairs on all of their paper. Vlad can have some fun tossing Lloyd around a dojo, but Vlad also learned what happens when Lloyd decides to kill your income stream.
Serious Question. Why does Goldman Sachs have a board meeting in Moscow last year? Can ZH dig into that? Do we doubt that there is a siloviki connection with GS?
Loosen up. It's not good for you to be wound that tight. Not very smart either. Do you want these fuckers to stay in power? Revolution will emerge when all the senses are engaged. Mocking these assholes is fun! Sparks fly, a fire is lit, and maybe, maybe, the perceived legitimacy of these fuckers burns. Some ironic juxtapositioning raises some interesting contrasts and questions.
