Sideways Market Monday Edition

Tyler Durden's picture

Traders may be back from vacation but all are still drinking Iced Caramel Macchiatos, as everyone knows no real trading is done before After Hours anymore. In the meantime SPY is locked between the VWAP and Thursday's close.

Less volume AH (after hours) means more opportunity to manipulate, particularly the suckers who don't understand what they're doing.

You would be surprised how many novices trade after hours simply because they can and they mistakenly think they will have an edge.

If you can't tell who the sucker is within 5 minutes of sitting down at the poker table, most likely you are the sucker.

Tyler....

If they ramp it into the bell, maybe you need to start selling some "SkyNet" shirts at the Zero Hedge store.

LOL...

GENEVA (AP) -- American goods will face around $295 million in annual sanctions as a result of the United States' failure to eliminate illegal subsidies to U.S. cotton growers, the World Trade Organization ruled Monday.

Those were my thoughts as well when I saw this. Protectionism really picking up speed with this in addition to the DPJ commentaries. Global trade is going to slow down to a crawl.

And here we are, perfect ramp job to get us to just under resistance with minimum effort. Now they can easily step over S&P 922 in AH. Well at least we can feel better that they are getting a bit more cost-conscious with our money now that they know there's not that many official POMO's left
