I have long dreamed of the day when the precious metals would reclaim their rightful place in the worldwide monetary system, but I always assumed that it would be a golden shovel to the head that would finally kill the financial oligarchy, not a silver bullet through the heart as it now increasingly appears more likely.

I like the analogy but the oligarchy aren't dead yet. Instead get your wallet ready for when they take a shot at the gold and silver price.
