Silver Takes A Sizable Lead Over JPM

Tyler Durden's picture

And in exclusively silly, but oh so symbolic news, the race track crowd bursts into a frenzy following the ultimate comeback story, as One Ounce Of Silver has now taken a full length lead over One Share Of JPM Stock into the final stretch.

Yup, in Amerika the oilgarchs, ie the Grovers, who are all "Christian" that it would be best to put "Jews" in charge so when shit hit the fan people would be like, "Oh, blame the jew!"  Age old trick.

You're confusing the religions of the proles with the tribes of the oligarchs,  an age old trick that is used to excess by the ADL.  "Blame Islam", another age old trick.  I suggest:  "Blame Abraham and all his followers."

"Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful." -Lucius Annaeus Seneca (4?BCE - 61CE)

“Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer and burn and scream until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money.” — George Carlin

hmmm, funny, I'm actually extremely smart, very well learned and don't believe anything just told to me and yet I believe in God, so your statement is false.  What you really mean to say is "God, like the gold in Fort Knox CAN be used as a crutch for the ignorant, the intellectually weak, and the gullible"  Just like government can be used that way.

Or perhaps belief in God is AND can be a crutch?

Not trying to attack you, but in all honesty I find the fervent belief in an invisible, unknowable, unproveable, omnipotent sky creature to have all the hallmarks of insanity.

We are all entitled to our opinions.  Personally when you see the incredible evil man can do then witness someone give the ultimate sacrifice for a complete stranger I think you have to believe in good and evil if good and evil both exist where do they come from?  It's not from nature, they don't exist in the animal kingdom, from there it's not a huge step to believe in a God.  A lot of stupid people have corrupted the message of God claiming to be his servants, in the end all he wants is for us to live in peace and treat each other with kindness, that's not asking for me to believe in a lot.

I will tell you that the Golden Rule --- "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" --- is the foundation of both my personal and political beliefs.  The simplicity and symmetry of it cannot be questioned.

OK top,

Before entering any Middle East thread, the Bearing advises doing the below:

-- bring your AR or AK with at least 4 fully loaded clips

-- bring handgun of choice, with at least 4 fully loaded clips as well

-- body armor to taste

-- take an extra dose of medicine to combat the high junk environment

-- be careful of messing with Chumbawamba

Do all the above, and you may live to tell your children all about it!

I would say just avoid them altogether.  A lot of people who are very smart in some areas are downright stupid when it comes to Middle East politics.

You can clearly see that that is the case no matter which "side" you are on.

silver eagles, or canadian maples?

Some times crashes do not happen if there is new event totally changing the game-like announcing gold standard tomorrow. If not, the price may go up still and even steeper, but there has to be a temporary correction soon, I am not saying silver will drop and stay down, but it will correct, stay oscillate about one year and then move up again.

Not much time left to find out what will happen, luckily.

I only worry about people who are long in silver. Those who own silver will not suffer for long time, about 1 year loss of value , no taxes.

. . . in one of the most stunning and improbable comebacks in memory, JPMorgan and HiyoSilver are neck-and-neck coming into the homestretch, with HiyoSilver now starting to pull away! Now it's HiyoSilver by a length and charging to the finish line! Oh my! Wait--what's this? It appears JPMorgan has broken a leg, tossing rider Jaime Dimon into the thrashing hooves of death of the rest of this elite field! Oh, no, what a horrible tragedy! Sadly, we've seen this before, and of course, it can mean only one thing: JPMorgan, one of the most magnificent beasts the world has ever seen, will have to be destroyed.

Do we have any volunteers?

On a lighter note, it doesn't look good for Dimon, either.

In some cases, where a horse dies on the racetrack and the farm wants to bring him/her home, or where there may be regulations regarding the burial of animals, it is tradiational for the farm to bury the head, hooves and heart of the horse (in the case of a stallion, the testicles are also sometimes included).

Someone, somebody, or some entity has a bid on the board at Bullion Direct for 24,774 Silver Eagles at $48.60. That is just over $1.2 Mil in silver. Another is looking for 25 cases of 500 Silver maples with a value of over $600G. More of the big boys are looking to buy this stuff up. I didn't even check the Gold but I'm sure they're looking to buy there too.

I've been buying Chinese Silver Pandas since last April 2010.  Working on getting all of the dates in a collection.  I've seen the prices double and more since then and some of the rarer years have gotten pretty pricey.  I'm sure it's not the most economical way to buy silver, but I just like them.  I remember in 1980-81 working in a software store in downtown Boston.  Across the lobby in our bulding was a high-end coin shop selling rare gold coins for huge dollars.  Pity anyone who bought at that peak - they still are not at par.   But as the mania intensifies rare coins will have their day.  I've still got a clutch of St. Gaudins $20 Gold pieces I bought in 1997.  I told my wife, that's our mortgage, but the timing has to be perfect, selling just as the calliope teeters on the brink, but before it falls, augering in with a wailing and wheezing sound.
