Sound Money Interview of Reggie Middleton (05-24-11), Aired on NYC’s WNYE Radio
On 5/24/11 I recorded a podcast interview with the Sound of Money, an interesting financial show that airs on NYC’s WNYE radio. You can listen to 46 and a half minutes of my viewpoints and opinions via this link, Sound-money-interview-of-reggie-middleton-05-24-11. Be sure to peruse the blog of the show as well. Below you can find other associated A/V goodies that outline what I will go over in detail in the next 72 hours as Ireland forces haircuts on bondholders that will crash real estate and spike rates.

Hey Reggie, I feel like a complete idiot. I been playing on this Apple for like 2 years, and I finally figured out how to download an mp3 link. Permission granted to shoot my brains out. You know I been going to that gray screen with the play button all this time, and not knowing how to download and it was driving me crazy. Anyway.... you get a little blowhard at times, and I don't always agree with you, but I do respect you alot and learn alot from your lectures, posts and stuff.
I'm going to say something that sounds "racist", and I don't mean it to be racist, I mean it as a compliment. I'm hard pressed to remember ever hearing a black guy talk as intelligently about investing as you Reggie. I'm wracking my brain, cuz I think I must be forgetting someone, but right now I can't.
I bet you watch American Idol and actually think the contestants have talent. There are plenty of talented people that unfortunately aren't recognized. I can Walk down Fordham Road (The Bronx, NYC) and you will probably find more talented people than all the people on Idol combined.
Seems like you're stereotyping Reggie; not necessarily prejudiced, but it seems ignorant.

Yeah, I've heard that before :-)
You shouldn't' always agree with me, that is... unless you're always right! :-)
Thanks a lot. That's greatly appreciated.
Actually, it sounds prejudiced, not racist - there is a distinct difference - although I don't take offense to your honesty. I actually appreciate honesty. It could have something to do with the amount of Black guys that you hang around, though... The founder of http://www.creditwritedowns.com/ who goes by the name of Ed Harrison, a former strategy and finance executive who started out long ago as a diplomat is a distressed FI guy. He speaks six languages too.
There are more than a few brothers around the blogoshpere, its just that many of them are not as brazen and rude as I am :-)
So you really think ireland will cause that much trouble this quick?
Reggie, I for one wish you to continue with your brazen rudeness for as long as you are willing to tell the truth. This is the thing that is rare today, the truth.
+1 for Ed Harrison, he is a regular guest on BNN and always worth listening to.
All of the black men in finance (Reggie, Sowell, Holland, Williams) have more of a clue than any of those white financial officials.
Time for all of us to get a clue.
The man (name escapes me) who runs the equity fund out of Chicago. He used to appear on Wallstreet Week With Louis Rukeyser on a regular basis. Gotta say, (mr obvious here) competence not race is what matters. This from the guy who can't remember a name...
Read or listen to some Thomas Sowell or Walter Williams. Herman Cain's got the right idea, too.
Does Cain's serving on KC Fed board of directors in the past concern anyone?
I am unsure of the author of these posts, if he could include his name a few times within the article that would help greatly.
Ah, but there is an "i" in teaming. Just sayin'
"there's no 'i' in team."
"but there is a me!"
"true. however, not only is there an 'i' in media...but the ME comes first."
When someone tells you that "there's no I in team", surely the only possible response is to point out that "there is a U in Fucking Idiot".
