Spy Wars: Russia Vows Revenge
The cold war is back... At least in terms of espionage. As expected, yesterday's stunning press release of the spy ring bust which came at a very tense time in US-Russia relations, and is already drawing a response from Russia. According to Reuters, "Such actions are baseless and improper," the [Russia] Foreign Ministry said in a statement. "We do not understand what
prompted the U.S. Justice Department to make a public statement in the
spirit of Cold War espionage. We deeply regret that all of this has happened
against the background of the relations reset declared by the U.S.
administration." Next steps - retaliation: "It's is a slap in the face to Barack Obama,"
said Anatoly Tsyganok, a political analyst at Moscow's Institute of
Political and Military Analysis. Russia will
inevitably follow Cold War etiquette and uncover an equal number of U.S.
spies, he said." All this is happening as Bill Clinton is in Moscow today, chatting with Vladimir Putin. We wonder just how reminiscent of Cold War propaganda those talks will end up being.
The chief spokesman for Prime Minister Vladimir
Putin told Reuters he had no comment on the spying allegations and said
the allegations were unlikely to be discussed during Putin's meeting on
Tuesday with former U.S. President Bill Clinton in Moscow.
As for those who have been curious to find out who else may have gotten infiltrated in the US (assuming of course the FBI's case is more than just a red herring), one place to start may be the LinkedIn profile of one Cindy Murphy, CFP, who according to rumors is the very same Russian-Irish girl playing interference for the Russian gold policy team. Something tells us Cindy's 102 contacts at LinkedIn are sweating quite a bit right now.

Obviously there are renegade factions in our intelligence community and the state department, with their own set of agenda.
Or maybe there is a renegade intelligence community, state department, military/industrial complex and political class. And on the other side of the equation, some small factions of sanity within these bodies trying to derail the plans of the sociopaths from within.
We must never assume that sanity lay within the political heads of the established branches of government or the military/industrial complex. For if we do, we will live to regret it.
Can I get an AMEN? Booyah!

spy ring arrest makes waves in russia
http://russianscoop.blogspot.com/2010/06/spy-ring-arrest-makes-waves-in-russia.html
So we're just supposed to tolerate these Russian assholes? Is that the idea?
Actually easier than tolerating our DC assholes. You can always trust a Russian to do whats best for the Motherland. Can't say the same about our scumbags in DC.
it's that, or we recall all our American "assholes" over there.
No, the idea is a bit more subtle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7-PQIuWwLo
Yes you are. It is the polite thing to do.
Governments from all over the world have intelligence operations in key countries. It's a fact. A large part of the work of foreign diplomats is gathering poitical and economic intelligence. Many operatives are not identified as diplomats. All EXTREMELY routine. It's tolerated because as long as we all know what the other is up to we can feel more at ease - it actually promotes peaceful coexistance.
The USA does this ALL the time, and is doing it right now. Thus, there is a gentle divided between economic and political intelligence gathering and offensive intelligence operations. In the end the FBI would have to decide if these people were a real threat. They apparently thought so. Now the Russians will proceed to deport an equal number of identified American intelligence operatives that they know are out there, but did not bother to bring in.
Why not the Russians as well? We've been letting Israel do it to us for years.
Putin to Clinton: meet Ileana she is our economic advisor..you must drill her deeply on economic matters.
Clinton to Putin: Do you like drilling as well?
Putin: No, Russia, is My homeland and I do not shit where I eat.
Clinton: Kinky...
Ileana: Hi Mister Bill...
Clinton: My, my, my... you look familar. Have I met your mother?
Ileana: Mister Bill, don't you remember?
I think Bill will get a full cavity search without the vasoline when he'll try to leave russia :)
Bill Clinton:
Watch out for anyone with an umbrella. If you feel somthing like a bee sting, quick, go get some hairplugs. Stay clear of anything that looks like a 16 lbs bowling ball/candle.
Putin:
Do the Amerikan sheeple a favor...
Clinton: First, can you say, "And now back to Moose and Squirrel" for me?
HAAAA!
Clinton went to Whatsamatta U.
Russia can hack most of what it wants sitting in its own living room, sans the "underwear"; and to think that they would house a swarm of agents in one hive?
Russia can hack from Moscow, but they need to be here to influence things. And not everything is done online. The Russians know that, but our 'intelligence' agencies tend to forget it.
And who said anything about 1 hive? There's likely a lot more hives out there.
Bullish on U-2 spy planes.
Oh wait, we have google street view now.
AHA! As soon version 2.0 commes out, we'll know all the Russian secrets!
Clinton and Putin will be talking pussy.
Just when you thought US/Russia relations were getting better.
...this situation harks back to a time when things were simple...when an over-seas visit went a long way as a gesture of good faith...when Vladimir still wore pastels...
http://www.theblogofrecord.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/vladimir-putin...
...infact he kind of looks like a journalist in this shot...past VVP ought beware of future VVP and his polonium coladas...
Putin is no obuma..he is looking at the EU meltdown and acting.
Some at NSA/cia/def..have given a shot at Russia..but with out much hope as CIC here is an idiot at best,a traitor at worst.
Russia, will move to align with Germany if history repeats and the EU demise will result.
This could be simpler than it looks. Both the US and Russia look back with nostalgia to the days when they were the political poles of the world, and other nations lined up behind one or the other. Now those nations are taking matters into their own hands, relegating the term 'superpower' to history. Former players on both sides would love to bring back their glory days.
Said it before, say it again, when the COLD WAR was on,it was a game in which we the people were better off.
It kept these treasonous, seditious bastards off our ass.( D.C.)
Just look at all the shit that's passed since the focus became US.
from Jim Rickards, here: Economics and Financial Attacks
I have said this before, I mean it literally, THERE IS NO ONE IN CHARGE.
If you are on a runaway train, does it matter if the engineer is there or not? The perception will be that the pace is picking up, you may notice the car swaying a little, but things will seem normal enough. Obama may be in the engine room, but there is nothing he can do. Meanwhile, others know it and are trying to derail the train, before impact, to lessen the damage. They will all fail.

When I logged in, the top banner ad was for a Russian mail-order bride service...that's some funny shit!
LOL
Russian mail-order bride bitchez... only take gold... for marriage contracts...
Congratulations: you sir, are a genius!
After years as the predominant indicator of future economic growth the Baltic Dry Goods Index has been replaced by the Cossack Mail Order Bride Index. Economic forecasters world-over thank you for your contribution to their ailing discipline.
Filthy Cossack sluts!
Filthy cossacks will (to borrow obummers phrase) kick your ass anyday. And what the hell is an aerojet? Don't remember aerojets conquering asia.
Yeah but Obummer is a lanky bitch who can't back up any of his "kick some ass" rhetoric any how..
The top banners are linked to your google history ;)
It's not a random thing you know.
Go for example to www.booking.com and click on any hotel. Then go back to zerohedge and you'll see all the banners will be from booking.com
I guess that explains all those ads for... well never mind, you don't need to know...
I guess I'm busted...curse you technology!!!
Let Me Get This Straight:
7/3/09: Somebody is sniffing around GS computer codes...
GS snaps its fingers...
FBI and DOJ jump...
and arrest Sergey Aleynikov Friday before a holiday weekend and the DOJ tells a Fed judge the shit could be used for fraud....
6/28/10: Somebody is sniffing around the Global Gold Markets...
(Putin to KGB: Look into the huge US fraud in Gold... bitchez (cyka) ).
Fed and JPM snap their fingers...
FBI and DOJ jump...
and arrest bitchez (cyka) sniffing around the Global Gold Markets...
Does that sum it up?
ALL just coincidence, the Russians are our friends! Now let's nuke'm!
Somehow this reminds me of Operation Canadian Bacon.
We may have to invade Canada before all this is over.
And do what with it?
I say, invade Mexico, shoot all the men and ugly woman and send all the good looking ones to me to serve as my personal sexslaves!

If we could kick the Israeli influence out of DC maybe our nation's policy decisions would make sense again.
aero,
Izzy, is the least of our problems.................get over it.
And get real.
"If we could kick the Israeli influence out of DC..."
That is our 51st and most important nuclear armed state you are talking about...

Some hot stuff -- more than anything else, she will give this story "legs".
So what are Russia's relations with Iran like these days?
A Love fest.................Russia is for Russia.
When GWB hit Iraq, after the reports came back that Sad Man, had WOMD's, from the council.( yes, others confirmed it, and what was there, was shipped to Syria prior to the invasion).
Only THREE majors whined.................China & Russia were the main two.(because they got caught, they were doing business with them as usual, even with the sanctions in place).
Right - maybe we were plugging some leaks before the big Persian Fireworks and Laser Light Show.
They will recruit their best hackers that are currently robbing our banks and sic them on our Government systems (some more)
More Spy vs Spy

So let me get this correct. We arrest a few clowns playing spy for mother Russia. It seems their primary goal was to live the good life in the USA while shoveling meaningless "information" back to their hapless handler back in Russia. All the while the handler is wishing he could have gotten the assignment. Ya gotta love the excuse for buying a house in the US. It makes us fit in. The handler in Russia must have been livid he was getting a pitiful salary and living in a dreary crapola apartment. The spys have cars and he is stuck walking to the subway every day.
Look for a bunch of American spys to get popped for the trade. You can be sure the huge number of Americans living in Russia have a few skeletons that could be used against them. How many Americans living with virtual sex slaves could they pull off the streets?
The US moves a Carrier fleet off the coast of Iran (Russia's best buddy in the region) and now a 15 year "deep cover" Russian spy ring operation is broken.
The two are clearly related....Ocams razor...What's the further link?
Russia is not Iran's best buddy. China is. The Russians have oil and gas. The Russians have been stealing from the Iranians for years promising to deliver all kinds of hardware. Every time the US or Israel rattle their sabers it spikes oil prices and Russia makes more money. Russia also sells reactor fuel and are pissed the Iranians want to make their own. Russia wants to control all the oil and gas pipelines throughout the region. The Iranians have fought these plans tooth and nail. So again Russia is not Iran's best buddy, China is.
PS, Russian and Israeli defense contractors have have had very strong ties for over 20 years. They jointly produce multiple weapons and surveliance platforms together. Ask the Indian and Chinese militarys who have bought them. Both Russian and Israeli technicians are required for training and support.
The only thing "clearly linked" with the carrier movement is the Navy's ho-hum rotation schedule, which is set up years in advance and is 7 months behind in any case, for this particular carrier group. It's not a sign of anything.
Putin is a thug
As first suggested on June 23, looks like the equity counter trend rally has ended.

Natasha! I haz plan. We capture Moose and squirrel after we take out 30 year mortgage and become Jersey power couple.
Did Clinton know that the White House was going to make these arrests public?
The hell with Clinton, did the White House even know in advance? Rouges everywhere I tell ya...
FBI as a rogue agency...??
All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players.
"WHY, OH WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!!!!" Obama speaking to the flowers in the rose garden....
Could it be the FBI is trying to tell US (United States Citizens) that something is wrong with the cozy Obama "friendship" with the Ruskies.
Me wrong - maybe me spend to much time under my school desk in the 60s doin' nuke drills... (dyslexia impaired)
Books.
The Neocon plan to contain Russia and steal it's resources are falling by the wayside. The color revolutions have all failed and the dreams of expanding NATO and the EU at the expense of Russia are dead. The West has done nothing for Eastern Europe except loot it. Seems the Neocons are lousy economists as well as mass murdering thieves. The ex-Soviet states cannot stand on their own and the West does not have the resources to prop them up. They are financially interlocked with Russia. The old Soviet Union will be resurrected with a new face.
I was under the impression that such spy games (we've caught you, you're out) are conducted on a hush-hush basis most of the time. So do we write down this particular incident as some faction bitchslapping Obama, or is it just one step among many to increase politico-militray tensions, so that the military-industrial complex can sleep soundly at night in the knowledge that all is well in the world and conflicts will continue to erupt.
