Still Sitting and Staring
Tape is getting more boring each day. Financials seem to be waffling back and forth, unable to move in one direction or another with any conviction. Meanwhile, traders are restless and bored, and really cannot find anything worth watching other than the anchorettes on CNBC.
Just sitting and watching to see which way this thing goes:
Not much happening today, other than a meager bounce in the dollar and a mini-crash in the euro, which triggered immediate selling panic in certain oil service names and gold plays.
The only thing I found with any decent volume today was McMoran Exploration getting hockey sticked at the end of the day.
Traders were able to feast themselves upon the lovely and delicious Amanda Drury, whose face was even more illuminated by that red thing she was wearing. And of course, the effects of the Victoria's Secret Gel-Curve Miracle Bra...
Here's another shot of Amanda, with some funny commentary:

I like this thread. Now we can see a bit more of what they're wearing - or not wearing.
Well, you get the idea....
And not to be outdone, Michelle showed up with one of those tight fitting cable knit sweaters, prominently featured here:
Hopefully I'll have something better tomorrow....

Itchy traders should go back to read my comment on Boy Plunger's Pivotal Point Theory:
The 2009 turkey has been cooked, carved and eaten. Action will begin again next week when the fat cats come back to play in the world's largest Casino.
Don't forget high flier SPIR, up 42% today. Go momo. Or something.
Let's try some "cut and paste"....LOL
Yer killin' me dude. Nuthin' like that appeared in my Xmas stocking this year. Maybe next year, or the year after, or the year after.....

I hear you talking there Robot. Its a fart waiting to get lit, right now we only know it stinks and will blow up.
I just saw Avatar. Why didnt Jake negotiate those mineral rights? Because he was American?
Howard Beale...i know you're out there, stop in and say hi. I hope all is well. Your wisdom is missed.
There's still opportunities out there guys. Take a look at a daily candlestick of SNDK. Yesterday there was a "topping tail" after a big run up. A definite signal to short and then short some more today at 29.20. Looks like a short until the 25.50 - 27.50 area to cover. At least that's what I think the chart is saying.

Amanda - you are the new, no-nonsense voice on Wall Street.
In your voice I sense a stern disciplinarian. I believe you can discipline Wall Street.
Please, discipline Wall Street. Get your whip.
Whip it.
crack that whip
when a problem comes along
you must whip it
before the cream sits out too long
you must whip it
when something's going wrong
you must whip it
now whip it
into shape
shape it up
get straight
go forward
move ahead
try to detect it
it's not too late
to whip it
whip it good

Lulx. Some practical joke. I'm looking for MCC's best and I had to watch Matt Nesto for 2:22. First, I had to suffer through today's market (as did we all). Now this humiliation.I will remember this evil slight!
IVAN on another volume spike, as people ran with the approval for PetroChina to buy that stake in Canadian Oil Sands.
