Today's Economic Data Docket - TICS Data, Lots Of European Headlines
Homebuilder sentiment and capital inflows data. And lots and lots of European and other headlines.
9:00: TICS net inflows (May). Foreign inflows into long-term US securities slowed in the first four months of the year. Reduced net purchases of Treasuries accounted for most of the slowing, though agencies and corporate bonds also saw lower net inflows. Net inflows into equities were about unchanged.

10:00: Housing Market Index (July): Likely still low.This index remains in the mid teens, where it has been for most of the past three years. This month, the median of forecasters is for a one-point increase to 14 from 13 previously.

I was pondering about that as well, how does Treasury action bonds when the USA has been at its debt ceiling for 2 months already?
