I find it funny that the Mulligan calls happen on down days.
was going to note that
Explains my subconscious gravitation here for commentary...
Wow, you guys really wear the tinfoil hats.
I gather that "tin foil hats" relates to crazy people or something like that. Before I started reading a lot of US blogs I had never heard of the expression before (I'm Australian).
Where does the expression come from?
If you are worried about aliens (or GS) reading your brainwaves, rumor has it that you can just wrap your head in tinfoil and rest easy. It works well as wall paper too, that way they can't watch you anymore through your walls.
Talk about front running, if there were big orders on those stocks in the morning whoever had the order flow information all morning knew the future.
Is it me or has NYSE been having too many technical issues ever since ex-con, I mean ex-GS, took over the helm?

Unbelievable!!!!! These guys are like cochroaches!
If this happens with low volume, what chaos will there be if everyone wants to sell their longs?
Maybe they are trying to slow down the down days so the longs won't get scared out?
NYSE WOPR: Greetings Dr. Falkin. Do you want to play a game?
JOSHUA: Global Thermo Nuclear Trading
WOPR: Interesting game... the only winning move is not to play.
But your computer called me.
Dick Bove
"bank stocks trading on fumes - it's okay if you take some profits"
Unfortunately there are no profits if you listened to this fool and bought when he called it a generational buy after BSC went under and how the Fed brilliantly fixed the credit crisis.
I'd expect if the computers turn around in sentiment, there will be political will to place capital controls in. Curbs, short limits, Algo trading is going to be banned, trading holidays, who knows.
It's a healthy market, see? It only moves up.
Heard on Bloomberg this morning that the Fed is hiring on Wall Street, they need traders to manage their hoard of UST's. Maybe the all the robots can be replaced by live bodies! rotfl....
Can you explain why this is significant?
Maybe they are trying to slow down the down days so the longs won't get scared out?..maybe that is true
