you can't seroiusly think this is just a Dem problem, wake up, ownership socieity, deregulation, no one supervising MERS, support of Fannie and Freddie bi partisan. Was this mess cleaned up in 2000-2006 when W and Repub congress had complete controlled, when Dodd was in minority from 2000-2006, how did he have power to be the cause of this.
Most Dems and most Repubs fed at the trough of campaign funds from Wall Street...wall street gave heavily to both.
The second in command Repub in the House, Cantor, stated publicly this past winter that Wall Street had buyer's remorse regarding all the money they gave to Dems because the Dems had audacity to regulate them a bit more than in past. For this, Wall Street, which had been giving heavily to pboth Repubs and Dems, Cantor noted, now was giving mostly to Repubs, and Cantor was crowing about all the money he was raising from Wall Street...The #2 stateas openly Congress is being bought and brags that his side is getting the most bribes now...but I guess now that Dodd is retiring there will be no more corruption.
If you think Repubs will save you from insider crony banks taking over this conuntry and our police and our ccongress you are hopeless.
We have a few honest public servants on both sides of the aisle fighting this, they should be supported and any whore corrupted by banks should be primaried out of their district...the answer is not all Dems or all Repubs, the answer is to make both our red and blue Reps accountable to us, the rule of law, the concept of equal treatment under the law and reject any one taking bribes from Wall Street

Does it even matter anymore? Until someone with a spine puts a class action together on the subprime crisis to enforce a claim retrospectively on the financial institutions, the CEO's, the ratings agencies and the repo companies.

We offshored some CAD work to Hyderabad, and it was a clusterfuck. I spent 3 months cleaning it up, and we lost money on the job. No way I will ever offshore again.
Quality at a reasonable price can be found in America, and you can understand what the hell they are saying on the phone.

How about if our Congress gets on board with rewarding companies for NOT OUTSOURCING and penalizing those that do.
Simple fix. 1.5x the income tax deduction for wages (cap at $60k) paid to people living in the US to whom your company paid wages.
