Our military is run by idiots.  Want to end combat strees and PTSD?  Aroma therapy I think not.  It's not hard actually.  Sex and hallucinogenic drugs.  Ever wonder why armies throughout history were followed by their families and or whores?  Our modern armies in their infinite wisdom do not allow easy access to literal sexual healing.  Hallucinogens have "reset" properties.  Take a look at the research regarding Iboga and Heroin, if you don't believe me.  There is also promising research with PTSD and MDMA (ecstasy).  Hallucinogens have great properties for healing by allowing a break from a tortured reality, neural connections reset, and this allows one to reenter reality with a new clean perspective.  End PTSD.  Please give our soldiers more sex when they are on tour and when they return, and send them on a spirit quest for a debrief.  Want to see people go nuts?  Sexually repress them, and don't let them out of their skulls.  Oh that's right sex and drugs are bad....
