Could someone please explain to me why the "net commercials" (banks I assume?) are short every damn commodity. I can understand being short gold (manipulation) but why are they short every commodity? Is the market manipulation that rampant?
pretty sure these are commercial producers who only use derivatives to hedge downside risk. obviously, due to their business models, they are net long by way of physical
