Will Americans Reclaim Our Nation in 2010 From the Thugs and Con Artists?

George Washington's picture

The giant banks are treating the American Citizen like we work for them, are holding the economy hostage, and are taking our deposits and using them to speculate in casino style gambling.

They've bought and paid for Congress and the White House. See this, this and this.

Will Americans exercise our power, or become serfs to a permanent banking royalty?

An economist says the healthcare bill "is just another bailout of the financial system", and lawyers say that it is unconstitutional.

Will we defeat this giveaway to the insurance giants, or become permanent slaves to mandatory insurance requirements?

Top scientists, economists and environmentalists all say
that cap and trade is a scam which won't significantly reduce C02
emissions, and will only help in making the financial players who
crashed the economy even more wealthy.

Will we defeat this
worthless scam, or allow the failed banks like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan
and Citigroup - who have already taken many billions of taxpayer
dollars - to make a fortune off of this con game at our expense?

Will
Americans reclaim our nation in 2010 from the thugs and con artists, or
put our heads down and stay subservient while the little we have left
in the way of money, resources and dignity is stolen by the giant
banks, insurance companies and carbon trading players?

Nothing new here. Nobody said revolution was easy. There is always a price to be paid. If that attitude persisted some 230 years ago, we would still be part of England.

We have drinking and cooking/toilet water sufficient for three months. We also have other resources like firewood from our trees. All we need to be able to do is communicate with one another.

I dont advocate armed revolution. I do advocate people to get up and do things according to thier own will. For example we got out of FDIC banks entirely months ago. We stopped using ATM's We stopped chasing after the latest and greatest gadgets. We stopped trying to support the failed debt model of deficit spending. We are actually accumulating what little worthless cash each month after expenses.

Now if the thuggie wants to break down my front door and try to take things from us inside our home, they will learn what it will be like to be brought down... either 12, 20 or .45 caliber. And we will bill them directly for all incurred damage and costs of cleanup.

The Big banks and the Nation is seriously sick. Let us work together to find good solutions that hit em in the wallet peacefully and with concrete actions that takes away from them and gives to YOU, the people. For example... I stopped feeding my bank's safe deposit (Which may be subject to Government control...) and provided my own vault. In a few years this vault will pay for itself in saved bank fees. This is one small permanent change.

Imagine if everyone bought vaults for home instead of feeding the cookie monster at the banking?

If the rats fee money goes down they will increase the fees to who is left. Notice that your electric rates go UP despite energy star appliances and solar cells on homes. The game is rigged. Just try quitting the game.

Truly, the best plan X is to have a like-minded, self-reliant community of diverse skills in a rural area. Too many people catch the survivalism bug and don't realize that only communities with a common bond of mutual security and prosperity will make it through this crash. Living in the woods, trying to beat death-by-calorie-deficit every single day, is cold, lonely, and truly insane - it is the absolute worst case scenario of 'surviving'.

You have to be willingly blind not to see that if gravity is applied to our financial system it implodes overnight. Advocating armed revolution will only see you removed from society before anything happens. We will never see a nationwide revolution. It will just be chaos in urban areas. All the pill poppers, welfare queens, and crack addicts don't give a damn about the Bill of Rights.

Will the supermarkets have all their shelves stocked up nicely again with everyone behaving before your 3-month supply runs out? Don't count on it. Find yourself a community that can sustainably produce it's own food supply.

The main difference between the US and the USSR is that we can resist illegal arrests. Our heavily armed populace is the teeth of Liberty.

Agreed... however... for those thinking of making "a stand" with guns...?

You absolutely DO NOT want to be in jail or detention facility when this Shitmobile economy rockets into the ditch.

When (not if) things tank ... Darwinianism will reign "inside". And just a guess here but I doubt the food will get any better for those who may be lured by the free dental... just sayin'... :)

Every true citizen (if you can't apply the 2nd Amendment you are simply a slave, not a citizen, so 'true citizen' is redundant) should read Boston T. Party. Yesterday.

Never waste a [duplicate post].

Haha! So true, the dental part.

What's the difference between making a stand with guns you have no intention of using and not having a gun in the first place?

Nothing! Absolutely nothing! We're going on permanent camping trip kidz!

There is only one Amendment that requires an instant response when violated: the 2nd. You can get a lawyer for everything else.

How do you propose "reclaiming our nation", GW?

I get the sense this is just an attempt at fomenting more anti-Obama and anti democrat hysteria. Which if happens in the polls next year will firm-up the grip of the special interest you are seemingly against.

If there was a stronger d-majority in congress they would become more of a force that could possibly match the force of special interests.

What you should do, if you really care about this country and are not merely sucking from the tete of special interest supported outlets like Fox News, **GET VOCAL ABOUT CONSTRUCTING FIREWALLS BETWEEN CONGRESS AND THE SPECIAL INTEREST AND THEIR LOBBYISTS.** Real Campaign Finance Reform.

what are you smoking? u actually think that a d-majority will be a matching force against special interest when in FACT they benefit from special interest money? repugs are no different. Real reform will occur when Libertarians and Independents replace this collection of greedy pigs.

Prior to replacement of the major parties, these two vitally important things must occur:
1. term limits for CONgresspeople are Constitutionally amemdeded and:
2 the current Congress to a person swings from a very long gallows as a warning of what occurs when the people are betrayed.

Are you nuts? Democracy left to its own devices becomes Socialism and Capitalism left to its own devices becomes totalitarian. It is the marriage of these systemes that created America and the checks and balances themes embodied in our Constitution. What will the Dems redistribute when they have killed the golden goose of capitalism?

It's not an accident that after the end of the Cold War, the overwhelming majority of the 'client' states that were supported by either the US or the USSR chose some form of a capitalist economic system to go with whatever type of political system they wanted.
If you are so sure that Democratic Socialism works, look at the performance of the 'emerging market' stocks over the last 20 years......

Huh?  The Democrat party is nothing but special interests.  How would putting more mouthpieces for SEIU, NEA, ACORN, American Trial Lawyers Assn, Sierra Club, Earth First, NARAL, ACLU, National Social Workers Assn, and every other obstreporous group of organized lefty retards possibly reduce the force of special interests?

oh and ps yes the Republicans are definitely corruptly beholden to the baksters; but their (the bankers') power was truly unfettered only once your precious Dems took the reins in 2006.  To say adding a few more Barney Franks and Chris Dodds to D.C. would even things out is laughable.

I think the first step to reclaim our nation can be simple. Vote for a 3rd party candidate. Most of these candidates are regular people and not career politicians tainted by years of bribes and kick backs.

Just imagine the fear in the hearts of all the Repubs and Dems when they realize that their lock on zombie electorate starts showing cracks.

Stop giving them fuel: Short out the corrupt system.

In game theory corrupt players (who produce nothing of use) are able to survive as long as they can manipulate money (or other assets) from productive players. Corruption only dies when all the surviving players are corrupt and can no longer covertly steal from each other.

Gangster-land overt violence would become outright rule until lack of production (food, for instance) would make the corrupt life unsustainable.

The only way to stop corruption (short of allowing it to play out to it's natural conclusion) is to preemptively disengage from it. Stop feeding it!

Recognize the current system is legalized theft , using convoluted corp/gov fraud and technical sleight of hand techniques to removes your financial assets from your control.

Do not pay with credit cards - use cash. Do not transact with offenders. Shun them. This includes every offender that you can shun.

The only reason thieves can survive is because we let them: we are complicit in our own demise...

Close those accounts, "go local" in banks and produce. Tell others what you are doing and why. Tell them that they are sleeping with the enemy.

I moved my money out of BofA nearly a year ago, and told them why: "I choose to do no business with a government bank".  Also closed my (small) business account at Wachovia, same.  Fuck them.

This is a movement we can, and should, all get behind.  It is easy and effective.  Next movement: miminize you tax liabilities in every manner legally possible.

Sir why are you late on you gold visa with the 200K credit limit. I noticed here you maxxed the card out awhile back with a cash advance check.

Ah yes, JPM. Look you caught me at a really bad time.

Who? This is James with Chase.

Sorry, I tend to talk in stock symbols during the day. Like I said you caught me at a really bad time.

Yes we hear that a lot these day ( trying to sound sympathetic)

I shorted the piss out of your stock and juiced it with naked Puts and I'm tapped out for the year since I want to defer Cap gains taxes. You guys are great. You made me bloody rich.

You took out a cash advance to short our stock?

Yeah, wouldn't you?  Fucking idiot. Call me next year.

But sir, our 6 month charge off period ends before then.

Hey did I set the calendar years? No. Did I make the rules up about Charges offs? No.

Take some xanax and call the other 3000 people on your list who give a shit.
