There is no rule of law in the US. There are laws selectively enforced. We are very similar to Russia in this regard. The mob rules both countries. We just define mob differently.
I wonder which state this was in...I'm guessing that they would be reluctant to try this in some states with relatively lax gun laws. After all, these aren't officers breaking in.

I think the law makes perfect sense, and should be used to it's upmost purposes. It prevents authlorities from invading personal property, and prevents squatters from occupying someone else's property.

that's a lie. she was current on her loan modification. in any event, the proper way to handle a loan dispute is in court, not by kicking down the door to someone's home.
